Yeah the autoshooting should stay on, that's a bug. It has something to do with the engine having a hard cap for objects in scene.

We probably should have created the projectiles as some kind of particle instead of objects, but we wanted to test the limits of the tool (and that we did).

Thanks for playing our game :D

Thanks! :D

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Thank you!! :D

Thank you for your feedback!

I haven't really worked with shaders yet, probably going to look into that next, thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you for your feedback!

The game should be completely playable with a controller, I just didn't have enough time to test it so I never bothered explaining the controls.

The level you're speaking of I think is level 6/10, but I could be wrong. It's not even one of the harder ones 😅, there's still a lot of game to go from that point (it's a hard game!!) If you want to see the solution theres a full walkthrough on the game page.

Thanks for playing! :)

Thank you! :D

Really cool game, I love it!

Fantastic concept and execution. It's really fast and you have to make decisions in the blink of an eye, so cool! Also the art looks crisp, clean and the game feels great! One thing I would like point out is the difficulty curve, some earlier levels seemed harder that the further ones (for example I found level 12 to be the hardest by far).

Fantastic game, keep it up!!

Simple, to the point and with a creative core mechanic to make things more interesing. Nice game, I like it.

Good job!

Thank you so much! :D

Thank you for your feedback!

You're not the first one to think that the enemies have contact damage, I'm definitely going to keep that in mind for next time.

Thank you for the review and the feedback! And omg I'm so sorry I did not think about that problem when I decided that the cursor should be hidden lol. I was just like "you don't really use the cursor and it breaks the immersion a bit so I'll just hide it". I'll definetly keep it on the center of the screen or at least give an option to re-enable it from now on (definetly don't want my ass kicked).

Woah, this blew me away!

The whole art and visuals look so amazing! The sound design is also very good. Big fan of how the game plays out as well, really chill and clicking your way through everything feels smooth. The only problem I see is that it doesn't really follow the "don't stop" theme of the jam. Other than that, absolutely stunning, great job!

Pretty good!

Very interesting setting for a game, and also fits very well with the core game mechanic. But on that note, I feel like you just threw a bunch of different stuff and power up ideas into the game, none of which really alter the way you play. In my experience it's much better to have a couple ideas and explore them to the max rather than a bunch of different mechanics that ultimately are just filler (I've made the same mistake before).

Interesting idea for a game, not bad at all.

I like it!

The game feels super good to play and the art works really well. The different weapons and build variety you can do is interesting, but I feel like the game is lacking somthing design-wise.

Really enjoyable, keep it up!

This is the most overwhelming audio-visual overload I have ever experienced. I guess this was the point of the Jam lol.

There aren't really any gameplay mechanics, but I guess that's not what this game is trying to be. It's just absolute screen crazyness      with a lot happening andnotenoughtime to take anything in just swallow the effects and keep going if you don't develop an epilepsy first. And AMOGUS I guess because why not.

Overall the game delivers what it wants effectively (maybe a bit too effectively).

Love it!

I love the concept of the game, so creative! Somehow you also made it feel extremely good to move arround even though you basically changed the whole movement scheme of classic platformers. The visuals also look really crisp and clean.

Amazing game, very impressive

Pretty fun!

At first it just looked like a plain top-down shooter but all of the different upgrades that you end up getting make the game a little bit more complex. I also love the balls of not stopping the game to let the player upgrade, it's kinda enjoyable that you don't have much time to think and you just have to go with whatever sounds better asap. My evil designer brain wants to go even further, I think the player should lose an upgrade if they're too slow (but as I said it's extremely evil lol)

I liked it, fun stuff. Keep it up.

Really chill and unique, I actually love it!

I somehow got to 11 points, you really made me squeeze my brain lol. A bit lacking in the feel department but I LOVE eveything else, the ducks look cute, the music is chill and adds to the experience, and it has a lot of strategy and memory elements to it which are relly unique. Definetly not expecting this from the Jam.

Make sure to make the thumbnail more appealing next time, it's a shame people aren't clicking in your game because the poor duck looks blurry :(

But great job, I really liked it!

Cute little game, not bad.

I would have liked to see some type of interesting mechanic, but I imagine you probably didn't have the time. What you did sunk time into is the level design, which is pretty good. It can't really shine without any creative mechanic but it's chill and does it's job well.

An enjoyable experience for what it is.

Good game!

The level design is pretty good. You need to work on the feel of the movement, for such a fast game it feels kindof sluggish and a bit unresponsive (might also have to do with the animations, they're important!). The jump is also a bit strange, feels like gravity suddently pulls you at a weird timing.

Not a bad game though, pretty fun!

Wow, such a cool game!

The animations and overall art is really impressive, looks great! I also really liked the gameplay mechanics and how you are kindof playing two rithms at once, it definetly tested my limited coordination lol.

Amazing concept, even better execution. Keep it up!

I like it, fun game!

I really like the idea of mixing rithm game with turn based combat, it's shame the game is so short and doesn't really explore the premise. The aesthetic is definetly very unique and cool, the rothoscopy look makes it feel even goofier. The music is also great, but I would have liked to see more sound effects based on the spell you used. The most lacking part of the game is the feel and juice, it feels a bit unresponsive at times.

I had quite a lot of fun playing this, good job!!

Its kinda fun!

I like the overall aesthetic, and the premise of having to spam E on a spot while a bunch of enemies try to kill you is good, that being said some the mecanichs do lack a bit of polish. For example, I didn't really get the point of the punch, evey action the player can to do should have its own strengths and weaknesses and should encourage interesting decision making. Also the enemies can't really do anything if you play super defensively (get a couple hits in and immediately back out), passive healing is a very dangerous mechanic!

Overall though, its a fun game, good job!

This game is great!

The music is an absolute jammer, the visuals are fantastic, the feel is great and the mechanics are very well thought out. Really impressive stuff, I can tell there is a lot of thought and effort that went into this.

Insane game!

Thank you for your review!

With the time constraint I had to make decisions and cut a bunch corners. Unfortunately Juice was one of the corners I had to half-ass if I wanted to make something decent. Although I did make sure at least the movement and the jump have a nice and smooth feel.

Here's a Mega link t a new windowed version https://mega.nz/file/Vg1HiSBC#qGqut021soeOFKSnU3pupc26IFzjg8ffXCsUXmud8zU
You should be able to resize the window to your heart's content. I hope you can finally play the game and have som fun :D

Pretty cool little game.

The visuals and the feel are really good. The camera is a bit strange but you can get used to it. I would have focused more on a single gameplay mechanic and make it as interesting and as deep as possible, also forcing the player to learn it through level design. I just feel like a lot of what you did is a bit redundant and doesn't really add much to the whole experience, and you could have spent more time polishing the melee attack (which is definetly the most fun and interesting), the waves and the enemy design.

Overall though, it's pretty enjoyable.

Not anything crazy but enjyable for what it is.

A good base if you want to get into game development.

I can't really play the game, there's compiling errors :( Make sure to upload a build instead of the whole unity project next time!

Fun little game.

I especially enjoyed the sound design. A bit lacking on the art department but you kindof made it work with the black and white and all the particles which look really good.

Amazing game, I love it!!!

The look and feel of the game is absolutely fantastic, although maybe a bit confusing at first because of the smoke left behind.

At first I though the procedural part of the game could make it unfair, but I quickly realized how wrong I was. With a bit of thinking you can get to pretty much any spot. I even managed to get a high score of 18.

It's a shame people aren't clicking on your game because the thumbnail makes it look nothing special, but trust me, it is something special. Absolutely thrilling experience, be proud of yourself, truly amazing.

The game looks pretty good and the particles are cool. Other than that, there's not much game to play.

I really like this game!

I love lok that the distorted screen gives and the gameplay overall is REALLY fun. Very fast-paced, feels great and a good enemy variety. Talking about enemies though, make sure to let the player figure out by themselves the strengths and weaknesses of each enemy.

Good job, keep it up!

Took a while to get how it works but I figured it out in the end! :D

Great music and visuals, but maybe it's a bit slow to be waiting for the bars to shrink until you can press space. Overall thoight, I like it, quite unique and fun.

Short but fun.

Not bad, make sure to explore all of your mechanics deeply in level design. Otherwse it's like you throw all that programming work out of the window.
