The graphics are amazing. They strike me as equal parts Bitsy, Inselkampf, and Persona. With just two players the map seems way too big - at the very least I wanted a steadier supply of trees so I could upgrade machines rather than just wander - but at the same time it was nice not immediately stepping on each other’s toes. I’m not positive this really fits the “Fix It!” theme since nothing seemed broken to begin with, but I figure it’s close enough.

Thanks so much bro! Your advice is really helpful and I fully agree with it!

Also, I'm really glad someone picked up on the Persona inspirations, love those games so much.

Have a fire day man!

The map was so large I had trouble finding my opponent! But we did meet up and battle after doing some upgrades. The visual style is appealing also

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! 100% agree with you there!

Real good aesthetic of the game. loved the cute art style and even the main menu was quite unique. I liked it.

Thanks for the comment! Just um... you left this comment five minutes after you responded to my comment on your game so um... you know kinda have a feeling you didn't get into a match. I would appreciate it if we could give each others game enough of a chance before rating them!

ok. From your perspective it looks odd but trust me when i say this that i was playing your game before you commented on my game. This is just a huge co incidence. When i saw your notification i opened itch in new tab and replied to your comment first. Pls believe me.  If u want u will even send the ss of me playing again

I really enjoyed the gameplay of this one! Also haven't seen many games in this genre with this kind of art style and music.

Good job!

Thanks man!

really good UI and unique graphics!! but i would probably make some text like the bow dmg more readable (somehow) other than that its pretty good :D also about the gameplay im not sure if its like each player spawns on a different island but i couldnt find anything outside the island i spawned on? idk what else to say pretty cool game

also if you have the time could you check out my submission? thanks :D

Hello! I'm just curious as to how long you played the game for as I believe each game should be given a proper chance! It's pretty easy to come across another island and it kind of feels like you might've not played an entire match before leaving a reveiw.

Thank you for checking out my entry anyway and I'll make sure to play yours too!

i can try playing again but i just started swimming to the right but i just got to the end of the map.. to the island spawn completely randomly or is there a way i can go in a certain direction to find some island? so i can try out the combat and stuff :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for replying in such a timely manner! It seems you might've misunderstood how to play the game. The map is huge, and you're really going to come across players for a while. Matches go on for about an hour in my experience, and for most of that you're just upgrading your machines and preparing for a potential fight. Going in one direction isn't going to find you any islands. You can sometimes be out for a good while sailing before you find any, so make sure you upgrade your food and water machines so you don't die while out exploring! (And of course your bow so you don't die in combat)

Thanks! (Love your vids btw)

im going to try the game again once gdevelop starts working lollll

Developer(+1)

Ha ha lol! I appreciate you trying to play all the games but, maybe wait until more people come online later today! It kinda takes away from the game a whole bunch playing it by yourself lol.

This game was really great! I enjoyed the gameplay loop of exploring, collecting recourses, and upgrading your machines, and fighting other players! I really enjoyed how intense the game was too! Knowing that everyone else is also upgrading their machines and getting stronger was really nerve wracking! And the uncertainty of whether or not you'd run into another player while exploring also helped to add to that!

If I had one complaint, it would definitely be that the last 10-or-so minutes of a match can be kinda boring and there's a few bugs. But apart from that, great game!

Developer

Thanks a ton man! Appreciate the honest and helpful feedback!

The more player the more fun.  Loved the artwork.

Developer

Thanks for checking out the game! Your feedback is a little vague however, and I would appreciate it if I could further hear your thoughts on the game! Thanks!

Thanks a ton man! While I appreciate the positive comment, I would grateful if you further your feedback a little more! Thanks!

It was great. The soundtrack was epic, the graphics were simple but worked really well and though the gameplay has been used in plenty of video games, because of stuff like the graphics, music and simplicity, it all boils together and creates a great game!

Thanks dude! It warms my heart to hear such nice words about my game!
