even the unanimated scene made me smile lol

Developer

Thank you! I'd like to animate every scene eventually, glad you liked it!

Your first game? No way man, it's too good.

Gotta love the poetry. This is one of the rare games on the jam that made me read through every single text.

Developer

Thank you! I appreciate it!

Amazing cinematics, cool narrative driven by poetry, art style & music were nice.

I'd appreciate some way to skip the typewriter if the game was longer though, that's my only complaint because attempting to spam keys to speed though a cutscene seemed to bug the game to not accept inputs after.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, I wasn't quite sure how to do the skipping  thing yet, and felt it was short enough that  hopefully people would understand. I might update it after the jam ends. Thanks for the feedback!

Haha, the poetry is so good and so funny. It makes me want to say 'Who are you?' Did you write it yourself or adapt it from something? Love the line 'violence solved the last problem, it will solve this one too'.

Really enjoyed playing this, great graphics and sound, and I laughed so much, well done.

Developer

Thanks so much! I wrote everything myself! I was inspired by  an old children's book I recently read again called "The Gashlycrumb Tinies" by Edward Gorey. I'm glad I you enjoyed it,  and thanks for playing!

I just read the Gashlycrumb Tinies poem. Yes, you really did capture the rhythm and humour of  it. To anyone  reading this who was as impressed as I was with NUTT's poem, the Gashlycrumb poem is a 26 line alphabet poem. NUTT's poem uses the tone of that in a completely new original poem. I can't move on haha, so impressed.

Hmmm, actually, I'll play the other choices too, to get all of it.
