I do a lot of games like that lol! Just sorta simple concepts. Thank you for the comment!

Would like to have done some of this stuff but I only got to spend a few days of the jam working on this and I was basically learning basics of defold at the time. Thank you for the comment on the animations tho! 💛

The reason the enemies can drop on you is they drop where you have been in the past, if you go there again you can be unlucky with the spawn timing.

Might implement some of that stuff post jam but not very likely, in the middle of another family health emergency rn. Nice ideas tho.

They follow the player's past positions!

Now that is an awesome game concept and great play on the theme (one of the best interpretations I think I saw), only thing I found somewhat frustrating was the navigating between rooms and not being able to tell at a glance which ones were overloaded ( would have been nice to have had some kind of flashing notification on the UI for said rooms). Also would have been nice to be able to switch between rooms entirely with the mouse. Regardless of these thoughts, absolutely fantastic game idea!

Awesome game! Clever take on the theme and beautiful style. I had same issue with audio distortion on the other 3D club bouncer game, so there definitely seems to be something up with browser audio distortion when skeletal 3D models get involved.

Clever game idea that is super simple! Only thing I have to say is spam pressing a button is a pain point for people who have RSIs or other wrist/hand injuries. Fits the theme really well.

Had same issue I had with Pawel's game with audio, my PC seems to not like browser versions of 3D defold games, it might be something to do with all the skeletal animations going on. Downloadable version fixes it thankfully. Interesting take on the theme, clever gameplay mechanic that is simple to understand too!

Awesome second jam game and nice take on the theme! Huge congrats for finishing it on time I knew you had a tough time with that! 💛

Very clever interpretation of the theme, really enjoyed this one!

Awesome game, super cute artstyle and brilliantly set up sprite stacked trucks.

Great puzzle game, perfect difficulty for a jam game! Well done!

Tbh that is part of the design of the game as it is RN, it's like old school grid movement. If you just held down the button your noise level would become too much and you would lose in less than a second. I think a good idea would be making if you hold a key for a certain amount of time (say 0.5 to 1 second) would retrigger said movement on that interval tho. I don't think smooth movement fits this idea of a game, it's very obviously designed around a grid system, and would make things like collecting the precious items need to be redesigned entirely as well as the noise system.

Not sure if this is a decent score, had a lot of fun playing!

Oh that is working now, I tried that last time with no luck! Very weird! Great game tho!

Great game, looks super pretty and very polished for a jam game, a lot more technically advanced than my entry haha.

Was having a very weird issue when the game is fullscreen on itch in browser the keyboard control inputs don't work (on main menu and game) but they work perfectly when it's not fullscreen. Wondering if something strange is going on with your input capturing or something along those lines.

Glad you got some use out of my music! Will try it out as soon as I have the chance! 💛

Thank you and I returned the favor with a wishlist and a follow of your game! Good luck with launch!

I was not ready for that ending, great work! Incredible music! Do you post your music online as I would love to take a listen to more of it!

This is CC-BY! Sorry itch never shows me these comments I just went to look at an older project of mine and found it had missed so many.

Thank you for letting me help out! Think this was one of the best games you ever made NGL! 💛

Cool game idea, music fits well, graphics are nice. I struggle a bit with the controls too. I would honestly suggest having the "kick ball" combo not be combined with the jump button (leave the jump on W and put kick on space would be my suggestion, and personally I'd remove the clicking on the ball mechanic entirely).

Because there were times I was standing next to the ball for 2 mins trying to lift it up from being stuck in a corner that this combo refused to work. Eventually when it did get free from being stuck it flew straight into the offscreen sand trap 🤣

Very clever concept! Not really possible to play with RSI injured wrists however. Holding that many keys for that amount of time is just not possible for me. 😔

Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback! Appreciate it! 😅

Awesome vibe while playing this, all your choices of assets fit well, fun mechanic too, could make an awesome mobile game or casual web game with polish.

Wish there had been a full screen button cause at my DPI settings I was missing part of the screen vertically (either off the top or the bottom of the window).

My score is proof I suck at games nowadays tho! 🤣

Thank you so much! The screen wrap might not have been the best idea thinking about it sadly! 😅

Interesting artstyle! Sometimes ended up with characters stuck offscreen and unable to use the scene transitions. But love the idea of a little storytelling experience in such a short time!

Now that is a fun concept! Interesting mechanics too! And that music you used absolutely slaps, not sure if you made it or where it's from, but it's cool AF!

Thought the trail renderer on the jump was a nice touch. Cute graphics too!

Love the character designs. Great concept for a game, I think you did quite well! Coyote time would have really helped in some of the harder platforming levels I definitely think.

Love the graphical style. I'd love to see a "finished Island" as others here have mentioned. Well done!

Cool idea for a game! Nice color palette and some really nice juice.
Not sure how good an idea it is to include a chiptune cover of Chop Suey by System Of a Down on the basis that I have been commercially releasing music for like a decade you have to be very careful with licensing with stuff like that. A cover is never considered an original work and is always linked to the original song writers licensing etc.😅

Thank you so much!

Glad you enjoyed, thank you so much for playing!

Thank you! Had to put that Spine license I got myself for my birthday to some good use lol. 😅

I gave it another try, thank you for sharing that. Much better! I misunderstood the repair tank as "repair your own tank" and I wondered why I might want to do that right after starting the game.

Great spin on the theme, updating my rating RN! 💛

I should have used a separate collision shape for grabbing the fruits, hindsight always bites me in the behind every time I do a short jam! Thank you for playing though! 😅
