A really great game ! I loved it !
Just need to refine the player's control feel, especially during descents.
Also, I think adding a timer for speedrunners could enhance the experience, as you've got a solid concept going...
PS : Feel free to check out my game too. It's challenging and only a few have managed to beat level 4 ( out of 13 ) and I designed it with speedrunning in mind.

I think this was one of the first games I played in the jam, an early submission. Great little throwback game, love the monochromatic artwork and the thrust mechanic! Really hard, but I played it for a long time, trying to get good at it, which is a testament to how well made it is! Nice job and thanks for sharing.

Everything was great, when I got the real point of the controls, it was quite rewarding, of course before that it was quite challenging, I really like that the theme has been implemented in the checkpoints.
Flappy bird + Platformer = Challenging but good game
Frustrating, but fun! I kinda wish the checkpoints were a bit closer together (especially early on when you're just getting used to the game). Would love to see the concept expanded out! Lots of directions you can take this one. High marks from me.

I HATE IT BUT I LOVE IT MORE WHY DOES THIS EXIST IT'S SO GOOD
