Hey, a "turn the music on/off" game - nice, that's what I did as well! The art style is lovely, especially the colorful music notation. And I love the idea of using the notes as platforms, so cool! There are a few bugs as mentioned in the other comments, but I was still able to play quite a bit, and it's impressive what you were able to do in the limited jam time!

And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!

I did a playthrough of your game. It's at the beginning of this video.

I liked the take on the theme and the puzzles/levels are well done as well. But using the mouse and keyboard like that felt a bit awkward.

It's a very neat concept that uses the theme nicely. But I couldn't get past the 'Hold C' part in level 2. I tried to push the box with c but nothing was happening.

hold C and move

I tried, but it didn't budge

Just a tip: u should make it the same button for toggling it on/off

This helps player ease of use and it will also get rid of your problem where u keep spawning new platforms every time we left click, making it laggy

easily done with a boolean called smth like musicOn, that u toggle every time they click. and use that to switch the platforms

if u like the controls how they are, u can add booleans checking if they already clicked that button, and only let them make new platforms if they haven't, thus stopping them from overloading the game with infinite platforms

The game is very criative, just missing some polishments. Congrats!

The game itself is a very fun concept. Some things to note:

>The tutorial first level doesn't say anything about space bar

>The crate never explains what happens when you hold on the C button,

>The collision with the on and off platforms can make you stuck in a wall

>No way to reset without reloading the game

The idea and the graphics are really good and fun, but it has some flaws

I like the idea of turning the music on and off in this platformer.

Nice! I played all the way to the end and enjoyed it. Nice level design! The music switching could be a bit smoother with some more debugging, but great game for the jam. Keep it up! Also please check out my entry if you have the time :)

man amazing game! very nice idea! make sure to work on this game a lot!

made sure to give an rating!

Can you check out my game too?

Some stages have a level design that is fun to beat.

Pausing the music and starting it from the beginning every time is not the best behavior, I recommend turning the volume down or pausing it and then resume.

This was pretty fun. The music is a nice spin on the "flip to make the platforms different" style. I like the soft artwork. Good job!

Really cool concept! I liked the art a lot and it was a nice take on the theme! Well done!

I love the concept and the controls are tight which is always appreciated! Not too difficult and not too easy, great job!

Interesting concept and execution. The game has a few bugs, but nothing that breaks the experience. I think that would be nice to test if this project could be a rythm game.

Could you try my game too? I would really apreciate it.

Love the idea, keep it up. There is still room for improvement :)

Would you mind taking a moment to check out my game as well and provide a rating? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Game Link

Thank you! I'm happy you liked it.

Fun little platformer and a unique twist on the ON/OFF mechanic (utilizing sound as part of it). I had a lot of fun, simple, but challenging later on. Great work!
