Nice little autorunner, and a unique execution of the "Switch platforms on and off" mechanic that some games in the jam are employing. I enjoyed it, but it was also really tough! I learned something every new try, so high marks for that! Thank you for sharing.

And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!

Really hard game for an autorunner. I would suggest that you make the game a lot easier by routing the on/off scheme to one key or button. Here's how to do it:

-Have a scene variable named "switch," and have it equal to 0.

-When a player presses a key (a, b, c, etc.) and the switch variable is 0, have another variable (scene or global), and change it. Then have the switch variable equal to 1.

-When the player releases the key on their keyboard, have the switch variable equal to 0.

aw come on, cheesing can be fun! Well at least it good it's not a technical problem.

True to the name of your game company, it wasn't easy. But the problem is, it wasn't fun either. I just felt cheated vs. it being difficult. I'd also want 1 button to change the state of play vs. two different ones. I'd scale back the difficulty a bit and I think more people would be interested in a full play through!

I think it would have been a more fluent experience if there was just one button to change the state of the platforms. The general concept is fun, just needs a bit of polishing here and there

Developer

I couldn't find a way to use one button to change the state of the platform

The games a bit hard, but it’s challenging rather than annoying

You've crafted quite a challenging yet enjoyable game – commendable work!
