is there suppose to be music? I couldn't hear any and I feel like this game was made to have music

Developer(+1)

The Attacks are supposed to be the music, but I'm not very talented, and 60 Bmp doesn't give much material.

Really fun. JUst some polish ang this is a banger game release

Developer

Thanks, I'm going to add more levels and do some more work on it.

Fun game, I won! Woo.

If the sounds where better it would have been more enjoyable I think, the round sounds where rather jarring, but maybe thats your plan.

But it worked well for the most part and I managed to clear it on first attempt.

Good job!

I came into the jam with about 20 hours left, and 8 of them were me sleeping, so I just grabbed some sound off pixabay :)

I can definitely see myself playing this for fun. On that note, any chance of an Android version for picking up during ad breaks on TV? ;-) I found it pretty hard just having a quick go, but the difficulty seems tough but fair: it's easy to imagine getting into the swing of things and developing a knack for when to reverse direction and when to switch circles. I feel as though a little extra effort on the audio would pay off as it feels very rhythm gamey overall, but what's there does the job just fine as-is. A fantastic take on the jam theme that works really well in its own right.

Just play the web version on Android during TV ad breaks. :)

Yeah, the attacks are supposed to be the song, but they don't come fast enough for me to do anything with them. Someday, I will put it out on the App Store and Google Play!

If you want an easier option in the short term, GDevelop can produce an .apk file you can just slap on Itch for people to download. It's unlikely to get as much traction as a game in the app store, but it works just as well.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I just don't think it is ready yet. I am going to add a story and like 20 levels, then I will do a big launch!

Amazing game and well executed, possibly my favourite in this jam. Fits the theme and is fun and innovative.

Developer

Thanks! Trying to make it balanced was really hard for me. It originally ran at 2x speed and was going to be a song, but I figured two hours of memorizing was not the thing for this jam.

Amazing and clever.

It took me a few tries to win the game(the quit button doesn't work btw).

It's a great game.

GG, keep up the good work.

Developer(+1)

I know it only works in the Gdevelope preview or when downloaded. (Sadly)

This game rocks!    After giving this game a few tries I realized the potential the game could have with a bit of lighting, and particle effects.  Other than that  the audio was a bit to loud and at full volume it made loud distorted noises.  Great job on sticking to theme, and keeping original .

Developer

Thanks, the audio was free from pixabay, and I did not have time to alter it and not enough time to add more game juice.

I tried several times.. no way I could get 60 seconds.   Great job.. good luck with the jam..

it's difficult but it's a really interesting concept, i never saw this before

Developer

Thank you! The level is only 60 seconds long, so I wanted it not to be too easy! :)
