It is actually a game designed by me and a friend as a real board game, the idea was for it to be light and something you can bring anywhere and just play a round in 10 minutes.

Have a real prototype here somewhere

I have been meaning to come back and improve, perhaps I should send this out for more feedback! Thanks!

Yeah, had less time for jam than I thought so I had to prioritize. Still ended up with a broken build haha... oh well.

And I agree, just filling boxes was never the plan, there was supposed to be events during the game that would force the player/players to prioritize and make decisions. Might try and finish it up and release it for real.

Yeah, a lot of small things to finish up in this as well as fixing the bug that make you not being able to actually get points and time...

Thanks for feedback!

Thanks for trying! I'll try to fix it now that the jam is over and see if I cant make something finished out of it!

Thanks for trying and feedback!

Yeah, last minute change before time ran out and I somehow broke collision with truck that would award you points and extra time.

Thanks for feedback and trying!

Thanks for trying! Normally when finishing boxes you should get points and time increase but I broke that just before finishing it...

Is the return to menu not working either? Guess I can write down another bug then! Thanks!

Yeah, no one can with current build... Made a last minute change that shouldnt have affected collision with truck but well here we are, broken game! Normally you would get points and time increase.

Thanks for trying though!

Nice usage of theme.

Basic platforming, movement felt good.

Good job!

Nice use of theme, doors felt random in as to what happened in room, but mostly went fine for me.

Enjoyed the graphics and the gameplay.

Good job!

I really like the character! Sounds where nice, music was fitting.

Sometimes the obstacles presented in a really hard pattern. Gets repetitive and not really much incentive to keep playing.

Also I didnt not like the one obstacle that was same color as the ground.

Other than that I really liked it! Good job!

I liked the idea, 4th level made me annoyed, not so much in what I needed to do but everytime I went wrong I had to start from beginning which was really punishing. Didnt feel like it respected my time as a player.

Good job!

At first I had no idea what to match and first one I accidentally succeded with and then I understood what I was supposed to look for.

Good idea, good execution of theme.

Nicely done!

Good graphics, sounds and fun levels. Good usage of theme as well.

Good job!

Physics was fun! Maybe some sounds and more levels just!

Fun game,  those platforms where indeed buggy :)

Managed to finish it at least.

Good job!

Good use of theme, fun questions and answers.

I didnt make the cork and the city got destroyed after that I was stuck it felt like. Perhaps some restart button?

Good job on the game! It was quite fun, wish there was some indication as to what color was active and inactive but I guess it was part of challenge.

Would have loved to see more of it using fun challenges.

Good job! Was quite fun!

33 as a score I think I was amazing.

Good job on the theme as well!

I have no idea what to do in this one. Car moved slowly then a whole bunch of skeletons came at a person I could control. And I found out I could shoot but only in some undetermined direction?

Keep working hard!

Good luck!

Hard game! Felt like the jump didnt work all the time, but maybe I just didnt understand it well enough. Managed to make it to some glowing floor then I died from a giant gap. Would have loved to see some checkpoints or something!

Graphics where nice and good job getting sounds and music in.

Theme nailed nicely as well!

Good job. The background and the text makes it really hard to read for me.

Is there a timer or something that makes you die? First time I felt I died from nothing.

Good luck!

Fun game, I won! Woo.

If the sounds where better it would have been more enjoyable I think, the round sounds where rather jarring, but maybe thats your plan.

But it worked well for the most part and I managed to clear it on first attempt.

Good job!

Tested it solo, I assume its some runner to get to the end the fastest.

Managed to get the trick to wall jumping I think and I won, yay.

Good job!

Good work on the art, many rooms I just did randomly.

Managed to get to a room with some tentacle monsters and moving platforms. One of the tentacle monsters where stuck on the left however and I managed to get the other into a hole(I assume that was one of the buttons.)

Nice intro, game itself was a easy, basically just hold right and jump.

Also the camera moved around weirdly when I  met the spider and when some big foot came?

Good work!

Nice work, theme works well with the jam.

Didnt try the multiplayer but I'm sure that is fun!

Ah! Thats a new bug! Thanks!

I'll be sure to fix them all for the future to actually make the game playable as well. Currently its not counting points like it should either...

No, its a bug unfortionately. I managed to break it just before closing time so this is what we got.. Normally you should have gotten points and time increase as well to be able to keep going and getting more points.

So its just to press dice before you get eaten by Chtulu?

Got repetitive quite quickly, the theme is there with only two button movements but then there is the whole pressing the dice as well which is technically a 3rd input.

Since you have submitted this to other jams it does not really follow the rule that it has to be made during this jam.

But still good work.

I'm confused and thats ok! Good job, it was fun to click around and try the different buttons.

Nice work,  fit well with theme. Physics where interesting.

Funny take on SuperHOT, graphics design was really nice and fitting with the whole theme.

Well done!

Good job! Could you jump on the eyes to defeat them or was that just three lives?

Nice use of theme!

Nice concept, I'm terrible at it.

This was cool but also confusing. I wasnt sure what I was doing but what I was doing worked well most of the time!

Theme was done well, good job!

Yeah, its something I'm bad with adding(its all so obvious in my head :) ). I'll for sure try to think about that in future jams and if I do continue this project something that will be added.

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time!

Nice usage of theme.

Your gd.games URL is a bit messed up.

It was fun, I never managed to defeat the boss, the bird or me not sure knocked the red box into the wall and then I somehow got stuck between the buttons and the red box, so I basically just stood there and danced to the beats.

Audio was fine, a bit loud perhaps.

Graphics was decent looked like some fine programming art.

Would have been nice if the player turned upside down depending on gravity, so it would be easier to track, especially since sometimes it was a bit slow to start moving in correct direction.

Moving gravity to down always felt very strong while up was less so.

I got the feeling when gravity was pointing up that you dont clamp the up speed that is pushing on the player so when after a while I step off a ledge it just shoots the player very fast away with all the built up speed?

Good job!

Good job! I really enjoyed this submission! Managed to find them all. Was expecting some form of jumpscare in the end.

Would have been cool to have some more weird noise and maybe something on the side that just moves a few pixels to freak out the player a bit.

I found the whole video sequence to be excellent, the use of the theme with two buttons where really good one of the best I've seen.

Really enjoyed the audio as well, the knocks on door etc made me look at my door that was completely open haha!

All in all, really nice and solid work!
