The game definitely made me laugh. I wish I could explore more of the zoo. The basics do work and it is fun to send the penguins to battle, everything just needs more time and work, which you already know. If I see an update to this some day I'd love to play it again.
Yeah when I told people about the concept they really liked it, one of many projects I want to work more on. I have to get better about managing the time I do have between work and life. Thanks for the feedback, I hope to make an update before the end of the month sooner would be better!
I'd like to play more of this if you decide to continue the project. I wasn't too sure about what to do when I started, but once the fighting broke out, I was dedicated to conquering all of the lesser animals with my penguin army. Especially the beaver. Who said it could bring an axe?? If you do continue developing this, I'm most excited to find out what it will sound like. I think there's a lot of room for whimsy there.
Thanks for the feedback! I did think some kind of little narrative at the start would have helped seeing as there wasn't even a picture or main menu to give a hint. I plan to update it before the end of the month and my second job will have a more conducive schedule for my workflow. (working 40 hrs 4 days a week then some weekends over the summer)
I really like the concept of penguins vs the rest of the zoo ! Definitely think that its worth putting more time in to "finish off" if your so inclined it feels like there could be a fun game int there. Also my my daughter loved the giraffes. She did a zoology degree and apparently they really do fight by clubbing each other with their necks.
A zoology degree that is so cool! yeah I saw videos of them fighting like that and it seems so cartoonish I just had to have them in here. And there is plenty more for me to do, even just a win screen would be a good idea. I have to make a better enemy ai system which was a taunting task, but I am looking forward to improving the project
