I found it rather interesting! at first i too was frustrated with the controls till i saw on your instructions that you put Acceleration and Jump in a seperated button layout, then i was able to zoom and jump! also interesting to collect cards that take you to different worlds, nice job
yah if i get any more time in the future I would love to put in a little area to explain the controls maybe even a tutorial lvl
I really like the toys etc you added. Thogh I still feel like the playe controls are a bit floaty, I think I already criticised this in round 1.
Still really fun to play around with it. :)
yes you did maybe i should make the gravity act a bit more and change the jump but it also depends on the type of levels I want to make if i want to make long wide gaps i need it a little floaty but yah thanks playing for rating my game and for the freedback
I get your point, though I don't agree completely. If your vertical speed is higher you could still cross the same gap with a more snappy jump, secondly ther are also other options like variable jump, double jump, dash etc. that are commonly used to to solve problems like this.
i get that point 2 but the speed does not because changing the floaty ness with the same jump force the jump would be not high enough because of the gravity unless I change the jump force witch the same issue would be here but double jump maybe and just to let u know it is a variable jump but only the hight gets a little more then doubled if u press the jump ability a double jump could work but I might break something in my code
Yea, personally in your case I would increase jump force and gravity as well as the vertical speed, but I think you probably know better what direction to take it! :)
i dont want to argue any more either lol thanks
It's good to see the progress you made on your game and it's definitely improving. I like the look so far of the different dimensions you made and having the cards to choose which dimension you can go through is pretty cool. I think this is going to be great especially when we get to explore more of the different worlds
thanks for the feedback and for playing
