Great game and loved the boss fight at the end. This was an unexpected entry this round and I had a lot of fun with it after some of the more slowly paced entries. I do think you went a little overboard on the effects. I like them, I think they're just dialed up a bit too much. They fit the music really well though. I liked this world a lot and wanted to keep exploring and interacting with other characters. Great job building a place that felt real.
Thanks man, that means alot.
A really cool minimalistic style game and I think the story of being in Heaven and having a jailer is a very intriguing story. I agree with FennectFu that the screen wobble was a little bit too powerful, but it is a nice effect and complements the music well. The game feels very polished and the controls are really responsive.
Thanks, I do plan to continue on with this project, since I had a lot of fun with it. I'll def tone down the filters so theyre not so distracting or sickness inducing lol.
That's great to hear
Nice little platformer, I love the music and the story was interesting. I don't really like the screen wobble, I think it is too strong and is kinda giving a seasick effect. Other than that, great job!
lol , yeah a couple friends said the same. I did go hard with the filters hoping it'd make it stand out a bit more with very little art.
Really interesting and intriguing platformer, I had fun playing, exploring and figuring out what is going on.
Only issue is that I felt like the resets were a bit too frustrating, especially with certain unforeseeable deaths and dead ends.
Great submission overall.
Thank You, I did want to do a save point after you unlocked the jump, but just didn't have time to get it worked in :(
