How did you incorporate the theme?
Re-rolling and re-using your cards and abilities are a central mechanic to the game!
Resources used
Music from Bensound and Kevin MacLeod. I also used a character controller I made from beore the jam started, then heavily modified it. Finally, the script which makes the dice and the book hover was also made before the jam.

This hurt my brain in a good way. Mechanics were a lot of fun to play around with as well!
Thank you for playing!
What a cool idea!! Really fun! Nice work! :D
Thanks boss!
Fun experience, decent audio and visuals. Starting cards feel a little weak and later on it gets rather chaotic and there isn't much feedback when hit, so it often feels as if I lost HP for no reason, so the best strategy turned out to be staying far away from the mushrooms :)
Very fun game!
Noted! I definitely needed to spend some more time working on the difficulty curve. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!
I enjoyed this game alot, very fun.
controls were smooth and the shooting was satisfying!
fantastic work hope to see more of it!
Thanks a lot!
I appreciate it!
I gotta say this was the most fun game I've played so far.
The fast snapping of the overdrive made me burst into laugh.
As a feedback, enemies seem to hit you further than they should.
If you're going to develop this further I'd add a little texture outside the arena
Thanks a lot! And I appreciate the feedback, I will definitely take that into account.
NOTE: I re-uploaded the build a few minutes after the jam was finished to fix a game-breaking bug.
