I actually love this game. it's really fun to play. The one thing I would have to say is movement feels kind of odd at times and takes a bit of getting used to. But other than that I love the idea
What else can I say? This was very nice. I enjoyed playing it. I guess my feedback would be, let me grab islands even when it’s out of sight? I had trouble grabbing platforms.
Glad you enjoyed!
Sadly I found that bug way too late while play testing. I'm raycasting from the camera towards the player, it then hits the platform your standing on.
I'll try to find a fix after the rating period is over
Interesting idea. Game mostly looked and played well, though the jump and speed of dissolving were rather unforgiving.
Thank you for playing.
I'll look into the dissolve speed, there was indeed feedback that it was too fast.
It is a fun little game, cool dissolve shader, I would have liked some more time before having my platform disappear though :P also some platforms randomly dissolved together and I had no good place to jump to Dx
Thank you for playing.
I'll take the timing feedback into consideration!
Woah, very polished game, good graphics, assets and a very fluid movement, the only thing I didn't like though is the camera smoothing, I felt like it was a bit too high, still a very amazing game.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'll look into the smoothing.
This was a really cool idea! Great use of the theme and super fun! Very polished too! Awesome work! :D
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
I liked that one! The take on theme is interesting and that big map kind of makes you scared that there is far and dangerous journey ahead. The only thing I would complain about is camera movement, but everything else is so cool!
I'm happy you liked it!
I did want to give that feeling of scale, glad it worked!
Can you explain a bit more what felt wrong about camera movement? Too fast? Does it drift a little?
everything about this is great! 10/10
Glad you liked it!
Oh yeah! way good! there were some sweet mid-air-land-placing-flicks in this one. Lots of potential for further development. Seriously good job! already a super fun game
Really glad you enjoyed it!!
I'll keep developing it for sure, I have a few things planned.
*My favorite "move" is placing a mountain platform in the front ring to block line of sight. I feel like taunting the light hahah
I love it! The concept is very unique and the genres feel really cohesive. You nailed the reusable theme too. I also really like the tutorial videos, those felt really polished and informative. Nice work!
I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you for playing.
Very well put together and solid concept, the genres didn't seem to be the most incompatible, but the theme was integrated very well.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback.
I agree the genre mashing wasn't so original, had some trouble finding a balance between genre mashing, the reusable theme and the skills that I have.
No problem! It is a solid game nevertheless, would like to see a larger scale game made out of it.
Very unique take on the reusable theme, I especially enjoyed how polished the tutorial and game feel was!
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for playing it.
Linux users the tutorial videos aren't working, so the How To Play isn't as descriptive, if you have problem understanding the mechanics:
Move around with WASD and space, you're supposed to left click platforms to collect them and left click the blue orbs to place them again. Move towards the center to reach the tower, avoid falling, the gas behind and do not get spotted.
Well, this has been a journey.
My first game jam, first game really, and it's turned into something I'm quite proud of.
I hope you guys enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
