What a nice world you created! I think it's a bit weird that the ball doesn't feel like it's rolling while moving forward/backwards, but in general it's pretty pleasant to play. Congrats!
Fun game that reminds me of the nintendo 64. My one complaint is when you come back to the main world you start at the beginning as oppose to where you left from. Bit of a shameless plug but in this tutorial it shows you how to leave and show up at the right spot regardless of how many "doors" you have between scenes.
A shortfix could be to make the camera slerp towards the player position instead of following it, this would make the game playable but it's no good as a permanent fix, great game tho the voice acting reminds me of TABS
Hey, thanks for your response! Unfortunately I was already lerping the camera towards the player, but reading your response made me realize I hadn't tried fiddling much with the camera position. I tried removing the lerp and it was... actually much better for some reason! So I wrote something short and sweet to determine when it should be lerping and when it shouldn't, and it works a lot better now.
Thanks!
Or just use cinemachine
Tons of potential here, loved the idea! The camera def hurt my eyeballs tho xD
Thanks for the comment! lol sorry about that, I have been trying to figure out what that problem is, but it might take me a little while.
Thanks!
