Fun little adventure you got here! I like the variety in game mechanics and how the rope was a central focus in all the challenges,. I thought the NPC reactions were also really well done, like the parrot that moves when you get near it! I had no clue how to get that chest at the end but that's alright lol. One thing that bothered me a little was attaching to the rope as it felt like it wasn't as responsive as I'd like and lead to my death a few times. Other than that this was a great bite sized experience!

Thank you. In order to get to the treasure chest, you have to use the guy that runs into the water as a platform, he can be dead or alive whilst falling and then afterwards you can walk through the one way door on the island to get back to the ship. I realised that the rope is quite troublesome for quite a lot of people and shall definitely have to focus on making that better as it's the core mechanic. I'm glad that you enjoyed it even with its problems. By the way, your game is my favourite in this jam, best of luck and thanks for the feedback!

oh woow, using the npc as a platform is super clever! I figured there was a way, I just couldn't figure it out. Thanks for the high praise, your game is great too! Best of luck to you as well. :)

Good use of npcs! I like the scripted events with them such as on the second ship, and that they are also used to guide the player. The controls feel a bit janky at times such as grabbing onto the rope consistently, though they function well enough. The way the music kicks in at the start is very well done, feels like a pirate action movie lol

Thanks for your feedback. I will definitely be looking into widening the rope collision box to make it easier to hold. Probably will change the player's gravity too. I often have a bad habit of making my games too difficult so I think it's awesome that you made it to the second ship and that you got to see some good stuff there

Bro! Nice job on this game. I haven't been able to beat it yet !

Thanks, glad you have given my game a go and no worries about not beating it, it's my fault for making it so difficult
