This was fun! The grid/3D perspective was pretty unique, and the block breaker/stun bar was very satisfying. There's scope here for different enemies, attack patterns, etc. I think it bugged out/ended when I beat Dan? But anyway, I enjoyed it!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah, I think there's a bug at the end. I should update the demo when I have the time, but this was basically a proof of concept for a more fleshed out (and not GB-related) version I'm gonna keep working on.

Grid based, collect keys, floor turkey...you sure you were inspired by God Hand and not old-school PC RPG's?

For real tho, not bad. I legit did flick the right stick and was confused for a second when he didn't do a backflip dodge. If the dodge was an attack cancel, I would've used it more than just moving out of the way. Was there a range on the enemy attacks? Or did it just seem like it with my old man reflexes?

Developer

Hey, thanks for playing!

The enemy attacks should only be valid on the square right in front of them, but it's probably fairly buggy!

Neat game. I played it several times. I think I won. The last guy never disappeared.

Developer

Yeah, I think there's a bug. Will update when I get some time! Thanks a lot for playing!

Reminds me Godhand! Good work! I got to the last duder but ended up dying just before I could kill him

Developer

Haha thanks for playing! That was kind of the very quick inspiration.
