One hit deaths with no way to respawn is a bit unforgiving when I couldn't figure out the controls and even still once I did know them. Would have liked to see more of the game but it was too difficult.

I like the premise and the sprite art is really good and clear caricatures. Also as practice is a good reason to visit a bunch of different genres. Keep it up!

The character sprites are great! I wish you'd let the game screen linger a little after a character loses a life; the animation seemed like it might be cool. It'd be nice to see your game ideas for the GOTY winners after 2008.

Good job on the character sprites! I was able to easily tell who everyone was based off of those without having to look at the character portraits. I died on the first level at some point and got stuck on the game over screen. Couldn't figure out a way to back out or restart.
