Really liked this game! Loved the use of checkpoints to enable you to reuse one-use buttons, made it a lot more natural to just praying you could manage throughout :) I really enjoyed when the teleport flames come into play early on but unfortunately got stuck at the first moving platform. I found it really tricky β I think I'm supposed to just keep moving when I'm on the platform but I keep falling off as the character moves faster than the platform? I could easily be missing something though. Anyhow, it's really pretty and I like the zen mood it gives while you play. Well done!

Good game! Single use moment mechanics, after the bit of polish with controls at the start, it's nice and easy to use and control. Managing to do the original assets is great work, visually it's simple but nice, there's alot of variety to the puzzles there, but there's a few problems.
Namely in the levels, the moving platform's timing feels absurdly difficult for level 10 + 11, I've using the tree below for timing and getting myself stuck on the white rock on the left inorder to pass level 10, but for Level 11, I have absolutely no idea, unless there's supposed to be a trick to it that I don't know about. Level 15, waiting for that vine to drop fully was time consuming and tedious, I really wouldn't recommend making difficult levels require a period of waiting as people want to hurry and try again.
Each Level after the first, restarting the level has that Wyah sound effect which was a cool, exotic SFX but it gets really, really annoying quickly as it accompanies every restart as a mark of faliure and every Level's start. It's like putting your favourite song as your wake up alarm, eventually when you hear that song, all you'll think about is how horrible it is to have to wake up at that time.
The graphics are simple, though things like the rocks and trees are very well done. There's variety of levels in there, though alot of it is hold right at a right timing and never let go because then you can't move to the goal. I would have liked to get more use of Left. The SFX is very nice, footsteps, vines and jumps all sounded good.
Good job on the game!
Thank-you FallNight really appreciate this detailed review. There are 2-3 levels made hard on purpose so that player not only enjoy the environment but also try to handle the difficulties in the game.
And as a thank-you giftπ here is a little hint for level 10 & 11 try using A & D key at same time π and do let us know if you are able to clear those levels π. For level 15 you can always skip few steps to save time π π
A solid entry which had some nice ahah moments. I enjoyed playing it. Some of the movement mechanic felt a bit rough at times and would be where I would spend my energy next. If it was a bit more fluid it would take the game to the next levell for me. Otherwise generally fun time had
You guys did really well implementing a lot of different variety for such a short period! I've seen a few other games use this exact mechanic, and while the graphics were of course place holder you did fantastic with making a variety of challenges.
An interesting main mechanic, but I had to alt-tab to see the controls - would be nice to see them somewhere in-game, maybe on top of the screen? The tiles and art are solid, but tiling seems to be a bit broken, with gaps between tiles. Overall, a good start, justn needs some polish - maybe some level rebalancing? The early levels were very easy, but I found the moving platforms really hard when you had to time it just right.
The game has an interesting main mechanic :D Tho i should say it lacks at some areas. The game needs a some kind of tutorial it took some time to figure out whats what. Also adding fire particles and some animations would make the game feel alive it felt lifeless :/
I noticed the settings menu is empty i suppose you are working on that in the new build ?
Overall it was a fun cool game just needs some polish nice work :D
The game is a little rough and there is no introduction of its mechanics. I hope to see a new version after this week of polishing :)
Hi, the loading bar gets near the end and doesn't load completely. Haven't been able to play yet after trying different browsers.
