Vile Alliance (Glinny or Cahrsurraurher) and Ingredients Included
Cahrsurraurher's Ingredients:
- Deep bass “ooohhh nooooo!” every time you die
- There is a minor NPC early on in the game that shares the exact character model as the player. This is never explained or acknowledged by anyone in the game.
- Redeeming codes found under the cap of participating MtnDew beverages unlocks powerful armor covered in MtnDew branding. If you abstain from the promotion, your party will occasionally comment about how good a MtnDew would taste about now.
- The game is fully voice acted, but only by one person
- You have a extremely annoying small sidekick. Who will in particular randomly trip you over giggle and say don’t mind me. And despite having no likeable characteristics everyone in the game your character included loves this piece of trash. Suggested name Sleezer
- The 'Interact' button to talk to an NPC is the same button as 'Use Consumable Item', which is a precious resource.
- The character models in the game don’t look like the character portraits in the menus
------
Bonus Ingredients:
- There is a slow ‘sliding door’ opening animation for every door in the game. The door opens in a way where the player could easily fit through the gap in the door, but there is an invisible wall until the door opening animation is finished.
-There is an “E3 Demo” watermark over the entire game, and it is large and opaque enough that it can obscure vital information.

I love the town music obviously. Great vibes, great Sleezer, and modifying the combo on each level is a cleverly simple idea for making each level up feel valuable.
Glad you liked it all! c:
Thanks for noticing the town music! I tried to hide a few little EZA easter eggs in the score - some more obvious than others!
I laughed so much! When I died because of Sleezer during the final boos I still wanted to keep playing, which was the whole point of the vile but fun game. Congratulations!
Classic Sleezer! :D
I lost it when I first saw the dialogue photo for the main character! Great job :)
Amazing. The production values are a 10/10, the music, the cutscenes, the voice acting, all so good. The implementation of the ingredients was also fantastic and Sleezer, that f*cker, actually triped me during the final boss and got me killed.
Hahah! I actually coded Sleazer to not trip you during fights, but the boss fight is a unique encounter and the 'during fight' check doesn't apply, so Sleazer trips you during the fight, and I kept it in because there's a save right outside and the boss is slow enough that you actually have a small chance of getting away from it.
I'm glad you like it so much!
I'm glad you kept it in! It was one of my favourite gameplay moments and I think really helped solidify how vile Sleazer really was as a character.
Haha he got me killed during that fight too!
Really cool game! I thought the level up system was really unique and interesting. I hit a couple bugs that affected the experience a bit, but overall it was great. Nice environments and music, good dialogue, sleezer is implemented really well, and the enemies/boss are fun to fight.
Good stuff!
I'm glad you like it so much!
This is actually a small prototype of an idea I had for a game, and I feel like game jams are really good ways to 'field test' ideas for bigger games
Super fun game! The characters were really expressive even with the limited facial features and the ingredient implementation was really good! Sleezer is a 10!
I'm glad you liked Sleazer so much! Really good design by my friend corey, and I was happy to see that they came across so well in the final product!
I really enjoyed the game ! It was fun and well made ! The art style and everything blend so well ! Good job for the game :)
Aw thanks so much!
Fantastic, really good job combining all the ingredients in a way was that vile but also felt natural/fun. The slow doors was a nice extra touch.
Glad you liked it! We spent a lot of time picking ingredients and making sure they fit naturally, as well as designing mechanics to fit around them!
