Very original. I liked the visual design of the pieces but it was confusing. Nice job proposing some configuration.

Love the idea. I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the differences from regular chess. I think it would have been enough to shuffle all the pieces after each turn. That would have turned it into a kind of "reflex" chess, where you just try to make the best of each random deal. The betray/destroy events felt like too much. They certainly fed into the "chaos" concept, but in a way that made the game more confusing and less fun. I would also have preferred to see the standard graphics for the chess pieces. Any of the above factors individually would be manageable, but with all of them at once, I didn't feel able to engage with the game as chess at all, which made me less inclined to put in the time to familiarize myself with each difference.

It's an impressive technical achievement, though, especially with all the options and configuration. Maybe just presenting the features sequentially or as different modes would be sufficient, instead of all at once.

This is great! Rated!

Nice way to make chess be less reliant on strategy, fun to play! The symbols are a great idea. Having the possibility to also choose to only randomise every nth turn would have been nice. The perks are fun, but having them influence the color scheme wasn't the best idea

Interesting twist on chess. I assume the concept was to take the "strategy out of chess." It's mostly successful in creating chaotic chess that is still playable. I really like the piece designs, but I think it has one major flaw, I like the different "power ups" or characters that you can play, but when you pick the same ability for both players the pieces become visually indistinguishable, this becomes more aggravating when one of your players betrays and switches sides. I would either add a secondary color scheme (like black and white) to let you tell who is who, or only allow one player to pick a particular character.

I think also to retain a little bit more chess like-ness I'd default the random effects to low, or give the players a visual countdown til one random event happens so that it might be possible to prepare in advance.

Fun! The betrayal perk is the strongest by far though, since it enables uncounterable checkmates xD

The symbols make for great UI! But the total unpredictability doesn't seem to go well with a puzzling game, whereas it usually can do with reflex based ones. I'd suggest some randomness and some ways to mitigate them a bit :)

Love the symbols and the idea. I would play this game regularly, had great fun!

Fun, though maybe a bit too many mechanics? I found that the different color's abilities made the game a bit confusing, which I get is kinda the point, but it just made it hard to understand. Regardless, a fun concept. I like the interpretation of the prompt

piece became a queen, got converted instantly... 10/10 would nonsense again!

Nice concept, I didn't think randomness in chess would work well, but I think there is something there.

This thing is hilarious and I had too much fun playing.

I can't handle this game. Kind of funny, but I'm done.

Interesting game! Hard to understand at first (especially when a diagonal cross man, gets switched right next to your Queen and kills her in the second round), but once I understood the concept, I enjoyed it a lot more - and won a couple of matches, just by chance? Maybe.

As a regular chess player, I found myself trying to find winning strategies, for example placing pieces in possibly attacking squares whilst also ensuring that the AI didn't have an avenue to my king or could remove my valuable placed pieces.

I found that this game is more about positioning rather than having a set plan for following moves.

I would recommend playing against the Red faction to start with as this seems to have the most understandable RNG and will allow you to get to grips with the mechanics of the game.

Truly innovative design with incredible depth due to the 4 playable chaos factions. Loved it!

I had a ton of fun cranking the powers up to "Raging" and trying to play with some strategy while the whole board crumbled.  Great sense of drama, making it impossible to really get your bearings, and watching all your ideas for plans fall apart in front of you.

Love the concept, even tho I died in the second turn because an enemy pawn was put in the exact spot to kill my king.
