So! Good! (I confess I googled the ingredients for an English Breakfast) Music and knob sounds are out of this world, and the art is fantastic (reminds me of your Rice Krispies game). Delightful.

Developer

Thanks! It's funny, you're not the only one googling the ingredients for that. I just happened to find myself surrounded by many English Breakfast's over the course of the jam weekend, and I guess I was inspired.

This is pretty cool! I really like the aestetic you went with. It took a while for me to realise you had to turn the mob in the main menu, but other than that, I liked it. It's an interesting game.

Developer

Thanks! I'm definitely realizing now I needed to make the knob turning a bit clearer, you're not the only one who had issues figuring that bit out.

Great game. I adore the bold artstyle you went, and stuck with! It really made the whole wacky atmosphere come to life. The game itself was pretty challenging, but unexpectedly awesome. I clearly had to look up most of the english breakfast, as a non-Brittish person but I got the rest without any help. The only silly thing is that I didn't notice that you had to turn the knob in the intro screen to start. I thought that I had to click the big button and that it wasn't working, because it lit up when I hoovered over it.. Maybe make the hitbox on the knob a little bigger, or give it a clearer handle? Could just be me though! Good job on making this, it was a lot of fun and I had some great laughs!

Hello! I'm so glad you like it and thank you for the feedback. I definitely want to working on making the knob interaction more clear. I added the highlight at the last minute to make it clear it was intractable, but I definitely hear what you're saying about making it feel like a button. Also I'm really glad to hear the humor came through, and it made you laugh :)

I like ZEN MODE! Wheeeeee! I just served: a horse, the largest loaf of bread in the world, and all of the tomatoes ever, along with 1000 forks! I like the main game a lot but ZEN MODE is the most fun I've had recently while sitting in front of a computer. (Does Overcooked have a ZEN MODE? It needs to.)

Did anyone else find hidden levels? (I didn't but . . . I'd hate to miss out on them and so I'm asking.)

Developer(+1)

Hahahaha, I'm so glad you liked it! I actually initially thought of the whole game as a sort of zen food playground, but then decided to add a bit of structure with the puzzles, before letting people loose in the zen mode.

As of right now I can confirm that there are no hidden levels, but it was actually something I was thinking about, and I do have ideas for some in an updated version. But that's all I can say for now. . .

I wish the letters could go into the bowls, but such a cute game

Developer

Me too! I was actually having difficult with the bowl's collider, it's something I hope to change if/when I return to the game

It was really fun, love the lo-fi art and graphics :)

If there's one thing I would change, I would keep the music from repeating
