To anyone trying the game out! It has been pointed out that the game has a mayor bug that stops the game at 5 zombies. This bug has been addressed in this web release. Please try it! http://shojam.github.io/

A perfect 5/7

epic game!

To the newcomers trying this game! You can save zombies that have been killed by pinning their souls to the enviorment!

Very cool and satisfying game! The art and music worked really well together. At first I thought that the collision detection was a bit off, but that was because I wasn't pointing the spike in the right direction and didn't realize that was how you "grabbed" your friends. It did seem a bit too short, even just for the amount of existing content. Nice work overall! :)

Interesting mechanics! Fun to play with, and allows some nice strategies.

At some point no friend or ennemy appear on the screen anymore. I guess it counts as the end of the game?

Anyway, it's a cool entry. Good job!

Nice art, good music. Took a few to figure out exactly what I was doing.

Interesting.

I really love the art style and the idea to stick people to car, but the game is really short, unfortunately (I take some times to understand that I can move too, sorry...) and the demon going for my friend is a really cool and welcome idea to change the flow of the game and make the player re think how he is playing : it's cool !

Wasn't quite sure what to do here, so I don't think I got too far. Not sure if it needed a tutorial, or I'm just bad at it haha, I really like the art direction, and the mechanic of stabbing things and then shooting them was really, really satisfying.

It looks, feels and sounds very cool, and I had fun playing (and discovering i could walk into friend and enemies to stab and shoot them in any direction).

After 6 friends though the game stopped spawning friends / enemies, and I delivered all of them away in the car, left alone and forsaken.

I wish there was more (:

The game looks really cool and sounds great. I didn't get very far as I'm not great at this sort of play but it was fun and I had a good go at it. I think it needed to be a lot clearer about what the actual goal is, as I know you show it as the first thing when they player presses the mouse, but it isn't obvious that that links up to your score in the top left. Overall a good game, but maybe not my style (but I won't count that against you) :)

At first i didn't realize that your friends were zombies and so i was just trying to pin everything, lol. i did run into some bugs, like enemies not spawning, and  the game freezing. But overall it was fun!

Cool art and fun idea, but a few glitches. Good luck in the game jam, have fun.

Good game! I wish it were a little harder and you have a few bugs to fix. My game ended because the zombies just stopped spawning. Anyway, I'd be happy to see this expanded with more enemies and more friendly types perhaps.

Great game and excellent execution! Really enjoyed how the game plays really well, with an amazing bgm!
I like how you can skewer enemies and zombies together, a very unique gameplay. sadly sometimes it bugs/glitches(?) whenever i try to hook a zombie on my crossbow it wont get hooked! but aside from that its a great game, a must play!

an interesting premise with a promising venture exploring it.
