Cool idea!

Developer

Thanks! I spent like 4 hours just coming up with it haha!

Interesting concept. The one thing that I would want added would be a guide (like a ghost image or something) to show you how large your laser will be on your next shot. I had fun though, good job :)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

The laser was actually supposed to match the width of your cross hair, but it seems like they didn't scale properly after building the game.

Good catch though! Will definitely be a fix when I work on the game after the jam is over! Thanks for giving my game a shot!

Unique and surprisingly difficult for a game that gives you a giant death ray! It takes a lot of work to make sure the enemies aren't lined up with one another.

Developer

The giant death ray actually works against you sometimes! I tried to modify the enemy behavior so that they randomly wander off a certain intervals in order to make things more interesting and fair.

Thanks for giving my game a shot!

Oooh, clever! I love how the enemies sometimes fool you by turning around. After the jam, I think you should continue this project and add some upgrades. I would love to play more of this!

I'm glad you liked it! I honestly think I will continue with this project. I've gotten some good feedback from a few people and have some really good ideas on how to improve the game.

I'd greatly appreciate it if you added it to your collections and kept up with it!

This turned out to be very addicting! As you may know the art could be better, but as for the game design is great! Good job.

Developer

Thanks! I really liked your's too so I'm glad you liked it!

Art is admittedly my weakest skill set lol

The game does really adhere to the theme and is quite fun, could be better with better art i'd say. Maybe if you had the beam sizing be controlled by the mouse too it would be nice.

Developer

Sadly, I can't play your's from my work computer, but I'll for sure play it when I get home. I'll admit that the art is the most bare bones as I'm a terrible artist lol, but thanks for your feedback! I'll check your's out when I get the chance for sure!

Almost like an aim trainer, but more fun! I do like the fact that the beam is getting bigger the longer you wait, makes you take action more frequently. However, as is, the difficulty of the game is brutal! Few seconds and the screen gets full of enemies.  And they are all really hard to hit with one shots as they tend to group close together. Also, the seemingly random enemy movement feels a bit unfair, as it is hard to predict as a player.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!
I'll admit that the difficulty is very high. I couldn't really get very much higher than 20 myself.

Your feedback has given a really good idea to make it just as chaotic, but more fair to the player. Too bad the submission time is already past due haha.

Thanks for giving my submission a shot!
