Oddly I was unable to run the game again a second time, but when returning got a black screen with "uncaught exception: abort(101). Build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 for more info." message in the console. (got stuck in the first walljump part the first time and was not able to figure out what to do there)

From reading your description I imagined the game as totally unoriginal, but it turns out the camera has a very proactive role that is very fun! It's sad that is was so short, there is much more potential with that mechanic.

Developer

Haha I didn't put much thought into the description, so I may change that. I would like to have made it longer, but without adding new mechanics it would have gotten very repetitive I would think.

Well done! You have some clever level design there, but you should space it out a bit. DEFINITELY take the time to develop this further, I think you have something here!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. And I'll definitely think of ways to add more levels in the future. Just wondering, what do you mean by "space it out a bit"?

Camera only one direction is like Super Mario Bros 1. But the back wall is new, and I liked how you used it.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the game!

ah this was cool but i want more! so much potential here i think. loved the feeling of discovery when you let the player find out that the left side of the screen is a usable wall

but now that i think about it this doesnt reeeeally fit the theme? the player can move two directions, and side scrollers that dont let you move backwards have always been a thing. your subversion comes from turning that into a mechanic rather than a hardware limitation. ill give it an in the middle for theme adherence

Reeeeally cool bro! Liked so much! Good job ;)
