Nice idea!  Sound effects are cool too. Perhaps you could add more environment to interact with, e.g. non-destructible stones, because at some point the winning strategy becomes just luring the enemies to insanely bouncing head :) There are couple of minor bugs - first, the head sometimes gets stuck, and second - there's some weird game state after you die, you can shoot a lot of heads at the same time, the heads bounce off enemies but do no damage. Still, great game, I enjoyed it :)

Visually and audibly I really liked this game. It had a lot of promise going in because stylistically, it really caught my eye and drew me in with its concept. The humour on the death pages was great too, even if it wasnt the main focus.

Unfortunately, the game is plagued with bugs, including a lack of i-frames, complete invincibility and infinite (but powerless) skulls after a death, the ability to lose your skull in a room you're locked out of, your skull being able to get trapped in a corner when it grows, and a door that allows you to simply walk out of the level on occasion spawns, easily letting you walk out of bounds.

I really liked the idea, being a kind of binding of isaac game that focused more on dodging, however once the shooting had mostly been stripped out of the concept, it wasnt really replaced with anything, meaning that gameplay was either slow to the point of waiting to win, or impossible as your skull would get stuck in an infinite bounce loop while you get surrounded by enemies who then hit you to death with no i-frames or ability to escape.

This could actually be a fun full release, but it unfortunately needs a lot of work

I appreciate the honesty! Funny how it's possible to create so many bugs in only 48 hours! There are supposed to be i-frames for you and enemies so I don't know whats up with that, but yeah the other bugs definitely exist :P

Thanks for playing!

I feel like the skull will do all the job for me if I just let it bounce. Getting trapped in a corner always means instant death due to the lack of i-frames after getting hit. More than one enemy type would show good design, but well, we had two days. It's impressive enough that you got a working roguelike. Also I like the kinestetic bits like screen shaking when hitting enemies.

It does get tougher, especially at the boss rooms, where you have to use the knockback from shooting the skull to help dodge, but I definitely see your point about the skull doing all the work for you. If I had more time I would've balanced and set max values better

Good design and spooky sprites, the mechanic is nice, leaving you vulnerable and fputing the focus of the game on dodging.

The game bugged out at the end but i dont hold it against it, the feel design makes an impact every second. Something to keep working on because it could amount to a really fun game.
