Works very well as a little battle royale game, and the sword is adds an interesting dynamic. The AI felt very well balanced. I never even made it to the top 50 but I feel like that was completely my fault, not because the AI was unfair.

Oh a very fun/energetic/hectic game! The sprite art is fun with great animations, I like the purple and yellow too! (however after awhile my eyes felt weird haha). Nice controls and arrow combat mechanics too! Great job! Please check out my entry if you have time, it also uses an arrow~ good day!

The purple & yellow are quite unique so we would like to keep them, though if more people report the problem we may need to change them.

The game looks and sounds very nice, the idea is pretty interesting, but the moment to moment gameplay falls flat sometimes and some of the deaths felt kinda cheap.

Unfortunately both issues were caused by running out of time, if we ever release the game elsewhere we will definitely try to fix this.
After playing this game for 10-15 minutes I managed to come 4th a few time and 2nd once! I love that the AI does you no favours! It's like playing a real battle royal game. The addition of the sword is genius and its really easy to play (but hard to win aka PERFECT FOR ADDICTION) one of the best games I've played so far! I think the map should be a litttlllleee bigger, not a lot, just enough that you dont die in the first second sometimes :) AMAZING game though and I won't start on the art because we'll be here all day!
Thanks for the praise! We had a lot of fun working on it and wanted to do so much more but eventually had to cut some features making sure the core gameplay worked.
The map used to be bigger but we didn't want the player to have to look for enemies. But it could also be our playtesting fatigueness ;)

The graphics look nice, but to me the game felt unplayable.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. What made the game unplayable? Was it the aggressive A.I., the shooting mechanic or something else?
The arrow was a bit frustrating, but the aggressive ai was the bigger problem.
Balancing the A.I. was hard. In first builds the A.I. killed each other within the first 10 seconds or so. Thanks for the letting us know!
I love how smooth and chaotic this feels! The aesthetics are also really nice.

This game is a lot of fun and addicting. The controls are really responsive. The art is amazing. I wish the bow could shoot a little farther, because it feels like it can but I'm not doing it right. Also, at one point I was confused which character I was spawned near 2-3 other characters that all looked the same. Maybe if the player had a different color or an arrow above their head for the first few seconds at the start of the game.

Unfortunately it's against the spirit of the game jam to update it, but if we ever release it elsewhere they should be quick fixes.
