Clever idea! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam 2019 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

This has quite a lot of potential! I would like if you could see the level for a few seconds when it started so it wasnt just guessing most of the time, but this could be expanded to be something really cool. Good job!

Nice game here! My only take is that it ended up for me using trial and error to solve it, maybe I missed something, or maybe I got too old. Any way it was good! Well done

I liked it. Reminded me of those "4 Dimensions" experiments, but taken to the other extreme. I like the built-in speedrun timer. Maybe I should try seeing how fast I can beat it.

I really liked this entry. It was well put together and I could see the concept being expanded upon in the future.

This game perfectly captures the feeling of stumbling round in a dark room only to finally turn on the light switch and realise the room was actually way easier to navigate than you thought. It felt a bit trial and error in places, but being able to see only a slice of the level at a time made some fun challenges. And I like the easter egg in the final level :)

Thanks for the feedback! The reveal at the end of each level was actually quite a late addition, but I added it because I realised that at points it can seem like the map's changing around you and you don't know what you're moving around, and that took away from the intended experience, especially in levels 3 and 4 with the mazes.

I like the basic idea of this game, which is great! I'm not sure if it's intensional but i tended to trigger the E key while moving around. This feels like exploiting the game and also kind of annoying, so I punished kind of myself. But otherwise the progression feels kind of slow. I think the game could benefit from some kind of "hint" system or mechanic to find the right path without brute-force :D

However, i had fun playing it! So, well done :)

Thanks for the feedback! I assume you are mainly talking about levels 3 and 4, which were designed so that the intended path would always involve going to the end of the currently visible path, then switching, then repeating the process. Of course, part of the design of those levels was that if you knew the level, you could skip all that and take shortcuts, but as a normal player, you wouldn't know. As the main goal in this game is just to be fast, I think that fits the idea of the game.

Great game ; maybe move could have been "GetKeyDown" instead of "GetKey" as it happened quite a lot that I moved two tiles when I wanted to move by one tile only.

Good job !

I also found that it was hard to move precisely, but if you had to press the button again every time it would get annoying and tiring, and I decided that was a worse option. Maybe in a later version, I might add an option to change it, or make WASD move as it does now and the arrow keys move one at a time.

I think this is my favourite one I've played so far. The reveal at the end, because half the time I had no idea what I was wandering around . I hope lots more people come see this one.

Thank you! I really enjoyed making levels 3 and 4 especially, as they were a form of maze, but you could skip it all if you knew the layout. It makes you think that the map's changing, when really you're just looking from a different perspective!
