Nice game, I like the atmosphere.

The sound is a bit anoying. The enemies are too strong, the enemies should be less stupid and understand walls. A little pathfinding is not hard to implement I think and will add a lot. The game is a bit repetitive too.

Thank you for the feedback!

Yep, this one reminds me of a little game I used to play (don't exactlyremember the name). I like the idea of being able to defend myself using anything at my disposal.

You know what would be even more fun!? Throwing spiders at the spiders ;D

Great game!

Enemies felt a bit too strong (brown spiders from 3HP to 2HP or even 1HP if you wished to adhere to theme). Some power ups would be welcome too. Also some obvious hints, who/where (such as footprints) etc. took the shoe would so be nice.

I played, rated and gave feedback-commented your game, please, do the same for mine. My game is mix of narrative based with top down shooter and has profound ideas about life (if you reach the end). Use left mouse button to shoot and arrows to move. Remember to collect power ups.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We actually thought about adding power ups, but did not have enough time for that

The right priorities (the core idea, game mechanics and visuals/audio, which supports the former 2) and acceptable preparation (such as BASIC code, where to find sound effects, music etc. for free) is the key in my opinion. Although this is my 1st GameJam, these things helped me a lot, especially because I had a job during weekend (Fr-Sun), so I could work on the game only 16 h (instead of 25-30 h) and was EXHAUSTED. Also the idea was SO persistent, moreover, because I do not like horror games and game like this VERY unlikely be my main project. This game was possible, BECAUSE it was short GameJam.
