I really liked this game it was super fun. It was always funny having a giant garbage truck crash into me out of nowhere.

What a unique idea for the core gameplay! Very chaotic when you start colliding and it feels oh so good haha! Had a lot of fun just driving because it was very fluid feeling. Good job overall! Kudos!
The graphics are great.
But this game makes me want to kill all passengers on the road.
Please don't hang it to dirivers : )
Very creative idea, and well executed one as well. Driving feels very good, graphics are great, music is nice as well.
I like how you solved turning the car (with only one button) by adding those timers in.
Overall, very well done!
This is fun and teach you about patience a lot :D I think level 3 & 5 (if I recall it right) can be skipped and to add some simpler version of the 6 th level before this level would be great. Also some kind of compass or something like that would be nice too. But nevertheless this is a cool idea and use of the theme. Very well done! :)
It is super fun game! From level 6 I found myself laughing trying to find the exit of this labyrinthine and chaotic city :) I have to say the design is really nice and I like the idea of getting to know the different components of the game, not finding them necessarily repetitive. In addition, I enjoyed the simplicity of playing with only one key which actually adjusts very well with the theme of the jam. Congratulations to the creator, it is a fun and original game! well done!
Nice entry! The main mechanic seems good enough to keep me enternained for a while (got to level 10 after several tries). I found some unhandled situations, I guess: in one of these my car kept crashing against other at the end of the very first level due to automatic acceleration (cool as level-cleared cinematic but problematic as it forces fail when you already have beaten the level). In other situations some random truck crashed me from behind with no warning, and this may be ok (though it's weird that other cars do seem to respect their ways) but I would put some rear mirror to keep track of incoming hazards. I also ran over many pedestrians may be due to the lack of visual feedback, and I know it can be intended as part of the challenge, but I think clothes color can be improved, or at least putting the direction arrows on the floor plane would help, as standing vertically messes up the visibility a bit.
So here's what I think: nice concept based on main premise. Yes, may be is not super fun, as the only real skill that this challenge expects from you is to wait and be patient (yet with some enjoyable moments), but on the other hand, the execution stands out, very well implemented overall. Congratulations!
More like an anti-GTA, really. From level 6 onwards, everything clicked. It's a fun game. Maybe you could apply penalties (or rewards ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و ̑̑), instead of resetting the level, when you hit cars or pedestrians. Or cops may start chasing you.
Pretty good small game. First levels are repretitve, but then you start level 6, the game become incredibly fun.
I really like the idea and the execution and although it seems pretty simple at the beginning the further you play the more complex and addictive it becomes. I'd love to have a counter with how many poor pedestrians I run over because I was paying attention to the arrows changing.
The controls feel very good and the car responses very well, it took me a couple of runs until I stopped trying to break with the down button but that's on me. It would be great to have a crazy mode where the car is always running so you can't stop until you exit the level, or some random stuff happening but bearing in mind the time limitations I'll just wait for future releases and meanwhile enjoy this little gem.
I think the execution was better than I would've anticipated. In paper the concept would seem kinda boring imo, but in practice I laughed while playing and quite enjoyed it! The controls and everything felt tight. As others have mentioned, it would be nice to have more variety, but for the time you had, this is a great job!
The idea is nice and original and the elaboration is good for the most part, but it can become boring and repetitive quite easily. Some more variety would be great (maybe some ramps where you have to be quick to get across or maybe a tunnel?), but I can understand that it was hard to make because of the time restraints. A backmirror for seeing cars that want to crash into you from behind would also come in handy.
But on the good side, the control(s) are very tight and responsive (it also took me some time to adapt to the fact that the down arrow doesn't actually mean brake, which lead to some funny moments :) ) and the game looks and performs great. The city also looks incredible with some interesting buildings and the turning system is really interesting. Good job!
Thanks for your review! yes, it can be a bit repetitive after a while. I had lots of variation planned to add but most of them turned the game unplayable because it wasn't polished enough, so I decided to drop half of them, including a different level generator that would be lineal, like a highway... I'll add them in future releases!
Haha such a funny concept. Got to level 7, but then I felt there was a bit too much repetition (level 6 took me a lot of retries). Honestly, everything about the control(s?) felt just right, very tight. Just needed a bit more variety to keep playing for longer :)
Fun idea with a good execution, but with room for improvement.
The acceleration and braking feels just right, so you can control your car with a fair amount of precision. Auto-turning on the green arrows works well most of the time, but sometimes they change just as you enter them (or even when you're already on them) and can get you off guard.
The pedestrians and other cars present a fair challenge for you to avoid hitting them, but sometimes the RNG will place a car right behind you when the level starts, forcing you to accelerate right away. Also, the countdown numbers are too big and can often hide a pedestrian crossing the street (not too mention, they're a bit too much, being on every junction).
Overall, a good entry (Also, ragdoll physics (like in the trailer at 0:43 and 1:48) are always funny =D).
