I liked this game! The controls were really tight and the game was balanced to be difficult (at least for my skills) yet fair. Keep it up!

The game feels really good , love the concept
I got a high score of 135
I guess the best i've played for this jam, spent quite some time, mastering that mechanic is really satisfying and feels super great ! Got a highscore of 485
I'm not sure what is happening but it felt like a bug, numerous times the closest enemy highlight zone was at some point the other side of the screen and suddenly i got killed by some one very close to me, yet the highlight only arrives after i'm dead which isn't really helpful then.
When i'm close to the edge i understand that some mob might have spawned on me, but it arrived as oftenly in the center.
Also those little rat-like mobs are really hard to touch, to aim them isn't very difficult but since the blade actually have to be on it, it can become quite hard when you throw the maglaive to it and you just got unlucky the blade dodged the rat.
I'll definetly play updates, and maybe you should try to see if you can make something more ssatisfying when the blade hit the wall, as it's quite hard to use since it basically stops the blade and if you were attracting it will just come straight to you, maybe some kind of grind, like the blad stick to the wall and glide along it while you're not attracting it.
And i actually noticed a bug for sure, on the left of the map it is quite easy to just no-clip through the wall, enemies do it too sometimes, especially those who run from you.
the mechanic of maintaining the weapon's position as well as your own made the game super engaging and fun!

Really cool concept and idea! The way the blade moves feels great! I do think the game could be a bit more fun if you could see all the enemies at once, but i can see how that would go against the "only one" theme ;)
After killing myself with the weapon literally a few seconds in I had a lot of fun! Really like the weapon mechanic!
Nice 80's and synthwave vibes with the music and theme, feels great once you get the blade and combo kills going! Good job!

AWESOME game! Super juicy, the "slinging a remote weapon around" mechanic is surprisingly deep and a variety of playstyles open up, visuals are gorgeous, all around excellent work! I'm personally a bit frustrated by the "only one enemy visible at a time" element but that might be the casual player in me talking. Excellent work, yall should be proud!

Quite fun and very original. I like the idea of only seeing the closest enemy. The gladiator feels pretty nice to pull and collides with the walls nicely. Overally pretty solid though I'm pretty terrible at the game it seems
Great game, satisfyingly difficult but easy to get into and fun to play. Beat 395 and I'll literally buy you an all inclusive cruise to antarctica or the central asian country of your choosing.
