Really cool idea and great visuals

Enough depth for it's complexity. Really sweet art. Very cute character. You have my approval! :)

Cool game. The last level was really interesting!

Developer

Thanks for playing! That last level was added once I realized the game was too easy T_T

I've not played a deck-strategy game this jam and this was really refreshing. I enjoyed playing through it very much and really liked the fact that you have to play your cards in order to refresh them. It forced me to really think about my positioning and what the enemies were going to do. This would work really well as a full game, with varied enemies and cards; I'd definitely play it. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. I hope we can continue working on this to make it a bigger project!

Neat idea (although I've played one similar entry) but the game needs to be fine tuned to provide some level of challenge - carrots don't seem to be useful as they replenish each round, and there doesn't seem to be any push to move forward.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yes, I made a couple too many "tutorial" levels leaving basically only the last level posing any real threats.

If you don't mind me asking, when you say there isn't any push to move forward, do you mean like, 'there isn't anything stopping you from just chilling with attack cards until the enemy walks up to you'? or more of a 'there isn't much motivation to make it to the next floor'?

Thank you so much for the feedback!

This was a really clever concept, but I think it could use a bit more balancing. I felt like I spent most of my time waiting for movement cards to pop up so I could go 1-2 squares at a time. Fun idea though, and I'd love to see where it ends up if you decide to continue updating it!

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, this game needs to get bonked with a balance hammer

Decent idea, but it was a bit too easy, and there was no real ending.  The music was nice, and the art assets had a lot of personality.  Personally, I would reshuffle cards at the end of the turn (so you don't have 5 attacks), and maybe include more complex forms of movements that would warrant the many carrots given.  Good work!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I really appreciate you spending the time to give the feedback! We decided to have you keep cards in your hand at the end of each turn to give the player an opportunity to plan ahead. Now that you point this out, I realize we don't have a discard option to just get rid of a card! thanks!

Neat game with a cool concept. There wasn't much strategic depth or challenge, so I would have liked some trickier enemies and room designs. I really liked the art and theming.

Yes! The theme was fun to come up with, we were considering the bunny could eat the plants for more energy too as an incentive to fight them. Balancing and level design was something I struggled with cuz we were at that 45 hour mark T_T. thanks for the feedback!
