Very nice idea with the mutations! I like how you combine purely visual (e.g. inverted colors) with mechanical mutations, and how they are stacked onto each other -- so it gradually gets worse. I also like the pixel art terrain!
The game is very fast-paced, i have to admit it was sometimes quite hard for me, especially with the recoil and the short interval between mutations. Nevertheless really fun to play :D
Yeah... I'd wish I had more time for play-testing and tuning the recoil of the weapon and other difficulty-related stuff. As it is, it's certainly hard to beat. I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless and thanks a lot for your valuable feedback! ^^
nice game its fun good job
Thanks!
This game was great! My girlfriend and I were laughing our buns off.
So glad you both enjoyed it so much!
I absolutely LOVE this! So fun and quirky, and that little (pig?) had the cutest fire-animation ;D Well done, guys!
Some call it pig, others elephant. Truth is I just made some abstract creature with a couple pixels hahahha
Glad you liked it Nicole!! ^^
I really liked it!
In my game, the idea was to make Hacker make changes to the game. Unfortunately I couldn't implement much in time, but I will continue the development and your game gave me a lot of inspiration! I'm serious. Thank you!
Thanks to you for playing!
It really means a lot that you find it inspiring and I really hope that you can continue your development and share it with me and others soon!! :)
This game is great! I would like to see some indication of the next mutation coming up so you could prepare for it to some degree, while still balancing a level of randomness and lack of control. Cool to see mutations I was not expecting like the lava floor
Hey Rob, thanks for your feedback!
That's actually a very good and simple idea to implement. I think it would help a bit reducing the feeling of confusion seeing what's coming a few seconds in advance. Glad you liked it! ^^
It is one of the more fun game among the gems but something is really out-of-control (bugs)!
Sometimes yourself or enemy clips into walls; when enemies double, it lags the entire game (!!); and the rocket enemy is really OP as they shoots instantly and in some scenario there is no way not to get hit
Yeah physics bugs are the hardest to track, moreover in such a short time. Tweeking the rocket launcher speed is also a good idea. Also, maybe that guy should be the one with 1 live and the melee guy should be able to withstand a couple hits... just thinking out loud.
Thanks for your feedback!!
This world is super out of control! Bug: large player hit while I was in a 1 tile high corridor and I got stuck then gravity reversed twice and I clipped into the level.
Yeah, with all the crazy stuff that I did with physics I forsaw that glitches like that were likely to occur at one point or another, probably the hardest thing to polish.
Thanks for playing it Voltron, ang giving your feedback!
I love how you took the theme and it pulled together to look nicely polished even with an early submission. Very Nice! I don't know what to do when the floor is lava though :(
Thanks! It indeed took a lot of work and sleeplessness to get it there. Thank you for your feedback!
When the floor is lava, just keep jumping. If you stay enough in the air, you won't get hurt!
