How does your game fit the theme?
The state of the game board changes unpredictably with every turn, with as much as half of the board being inaccessible at any given time. Randomized hazards appear every few turns to add to the challenge.

Amazing super cool game I liked the graphics and the concept a lot. The gameplay had a nice feel like you left a lot of good room for strategic planning.
Kind of an easy game. Was wondering why you randomize the board after every turn, kind of gets rid of an aspect of strategy there. Other than that, I really like your aesthetic style, and especially for game jam games, I really appreciate that you added a tutorial at the beginning. Well done!
A pretty interesting idea and lovely visuals.
This is a great concept. As far as I am aware, this is a new mechanic: new to me at least. When I started playing, I was quickly hooked, and enjoyed discovering the way to play and devising strategies. The problem is that the difficulty has no curve to it. I played for a good while, and the sponsored troops never reached my city. The game is too easy, but to begin with that was fine. I found myself getting bored, though, before there was any risk of losing. Music might hold my attention for longer, but the key is to scale the difficulty over time, to invite some challenge into the experience.
This is a really promising start to what could be a great game. Good work!
Cool little game, but takes a good while to make it go out of control. Made it to turn 144 w. 1815 points, and didn't feel super challenged yet :3 If it escalated a bit faster it would go from great to awesome! If you have time check out our game as well: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/692904
Great job guys this has been my favorite game I've reviewed for the game jam so far, it could definitely be a lot harder though, seems really easy right now but it's a great concept.
This is a very neat little puzzler, that could definitely be expanded into something bigger with more than 48 hours!
