This was a pretty cool Asteroids-type game! I liked the gameplay, but it was a bit difficult and I ended up not being able to beat it. A few subtle changes, like an arrow pointing to the asteroid, would have been appreciated (especially if the arrow was faulty!).

I had a lot of fun playing this game. I found the controls a bit difficult at times but once you got use to it, it got better. I still felt like i was fighting the controls more than the game intended. I played it for a while and couldn't get on the asteroid so i am probably just bad haha!

Love the game though, very addictive.

Nice game, fits the theme really well!

This game makes me go YES!

Had some frustratingly great fun playing this! I'm a big fan of randomness and loved that not only the controls went all wonky but so did the readouts as well! Good stuff!

I would like to see the control disabling affected by player actions so that it adds to the fun instead of subtracting, and you could attempt to mitigate your control loss. With complete randomness, I think this well made spaceship landing game would be more fun with regular controls. I had fun playing it, great job!

yeah, I know what you’re saying, maybe crashing into an object disables a system instead of destroying the ship or holding down the rotate or thruster key for too long disables them for a few seconds. Next time and thanks for the feedback! :)

I'm really bad at this... I could not stay alive for more than 5-10 seconds :)

Removing one aspect of a player's control scheme is a common factor in the games this jam - this game is the best (and most fun) application of that approach I have seen so far.

It gives me Apollo 13/Ground Control to Major Tom vibes

Would be better if we could know the general spawn of target asteroid.(That may discourage exploration IDK.)

I saw the asteroid only once while playing tens of rounds.

Nice fit for the theme.

The 'altitude' value allows you to infer the location of the asteroid.

Oh.I see.

Thanks for clearing that.

Really stuck to the theme! I kept getting randomly blindsided by some asteroid/satellite. Not having any influence or reaction time was really frustrating, on top of the intentional frustration of the crazy controls.

Developer(+1)

yeah, I made it very challenging :P

But I manage to land maybe 10% of the time

I found the game very hard and couldnt get any points at all. The rocket was literally out of control, but you could avoided killing the player for getting out of control, being the theme of the game. The art was very good, and I liked the thruster sounds, well done!

Great take on Asteroids and good use of the theme. Good work!
