How does your game fit the theme?
It's a platformer, only I take away control over the player avtar from the player and relinquish control over the level design in return.

Very clever and fun.  Excellent execution of the theme.  It reminds me of a more advanced version of chu chu rocket.  Though like chu chu rocket, I think it would've been nice if I could've predicted what the player was going to do somehow, as Im not sure the completely blind trial and error is as fun as making more informed decisions.  Regardless it didn't ruin the game for me, and I found it refreshingingly unique!  Well done.

This was the most fun I had so far rating games from this jam. I actually really like the choice of not knowing what the "player" is going to be doing and having to discover that first, and then plan the level around it. And taking advantage of that vertical space later on.

And THANK YOU for letting me use keyboard shortcuts to place the blocks.  I did find myself wanting to click and drag to place multiple blocks but it's totally understandable to have to click each one for a game jam. Another really nice polish thing I noticed is that when you right click to delete a block, the next block you go to place is automatically set to that. Great choice.

There were at least a couple levels that had me laughing once I pulled them off.

I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches. Great job!

Aw thank you so much. Yeah I prsonally also only use the hotkeys for selecting stuff, because my buttons are bad. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with it!

This is such a nice game! I really love this interpretation of the theme. Each level is a really fun to puzzle to solve, where you need to figure out where the characters actions are going to occur and build the level around that. The sound and visuals are really cute too.

This is really great work!

Thank you so much. That's a lot of praise. You're too kind!

Very challenging and fun!!!

I like the idea, I think the character should have a set of moves depending on whats up front (maybe), the character does different things each level so usually the first try is wrong, or just make the character moves totally random and make a level while the character is moving(?).

I'm just throwing more ideas :D, I see potential here!

Yeah an actual AI player would definitely be extremely cool, but also geez, probably a ton of work.

I cleared all ten levels and it was delightful. I think you could make a lot more of this and do some really fiendish stuff, but I appreciate how what's here doesn't take too much trial and error to figure out if you've read the instructions.

Developer

Thanks for playing, Flim! And yeah I think there's a lot of room for adding to it after the jam.

I like how you added limitations. However, I couldn't figure out how to get the key from the slime. But still, great game.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, it seems I should have been clearer about that. The player character will sometimes do a punch (If they don't die first). And you need to place a slime in such a way that the character will hit it when they do punch.

Thanks for playing!
