a really good an polished game. I like the chill music
What a great idea with equally-great execution. It's a simple concept, but the challenge introduced from having randomized cards adds a lot. Really love the music too. Great job all around!
High polish with simple, clever design. It always makes you think you can do better, even when your perfectly placed block tower falls apart. I anticipate revisiting this long after the jam is over
At first, I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this game, after having played many similar "tower building" games in the past.
However, the simple innovation of having a hand of cards to play changes how you play the game in a very interesting way. Each hand feels like its own little challenge, and playing the last card always feels super satisfying.
The artwork and music is also exceptional.
If this game were to be explored a bit further, perhaps with just a few more deckbuilding mechanics (or at least some cards that do more than place blocks), I think it could be really awesome. It's also the perfect candidate for mobile :P
My highscore: 443
Deck builder mechanics were the plan from the start! But alas the game jam time constraints didn't allow me to get quite there. Definitely something I want to explore if I ever spin this jam game into a side project :D
A split screen for 2 players fight would be awesome.
Great concept, outstanding execution. I played a similar game and this definitely feels more polished. The card choice give much more fun and fairness too.
This is really cool. I like the strategy of which card to use. It feels like a mini puzzle to solve during each new hand. I managed to get a 407M tall tower. Haven't beat that record yet but I am trying. This would be fun as a mobile game and it looks so polished already.
Unfortunately, the screen size is fixed, meaning I can't play it since the cards are off screen
Wow that is a bummer! I guess the screen size was... out of control?
In all seriousness, I wish I could just upload a new version with window sizing toggled but even minor fixes like that are blocked while voting is in progress! :O
