Well, that was all a bit confusing... I didn't have much of an idea what was going on to be honest and then seems to randomly get a "Perished" screen... Maybe a bit more instruction is neccesary 

Needs more visual feedback to the spells, like spell particle trails and a targetting reticle. And a way to restart the game (literally mashed my entire keyboard). Graphics came out good for a jam! And the AI seemed to have good logic, even if I couldn't figure out what to heck i was doing. Nice game!

I had a hard time figuring out what was going on, what the controls were, and how I could affect the animals

Damn I got DOOMed a lot of times trying to make the animals pit against each other. U should add some visual feedback to make player understand what is happening. That's all I guess or else it is a fun idea.
