Dope music, clever writing, and badass choreographed mini-cutscenes - really liked it!

really creative mechanics and the sprites are dope!  I like the after image effect on the body sprite but I found it a little difficult to differentiate the spirit from the afterimages when they were desynced but close together.

Crazy mechanics, love it!  Got my egg stuck in the wall somehow lol!

Yes!  I think if I keep expanding this game, I would make the sword cut through all slimes, and add an enemy unit that stops the blade and has a bit more HP - sort of like a moving wall

Happy to see another person use the "my weapons also attack me" idea!  Really fun game, loved the little jingle audio when you picked up the currency!

Music and art were great!  The amount of enemies quickly got out of hand if I didn't use the special ability - very fun!

Loved the variation of the weapons, the green shell was my favorite!!  Like others, I wanted a short invincibility after losing my weapon but other than that the gameplay was fun and engaging!  Could definitely be expanded into something more I bet

Cool game!  I didn't realize I had abilities until I read your description, wish I had noticed that sooner or there was something in game that told me (maybe I missed it?)

Thanks for checking it out!

A great example of how narrative and writing can make even the smallest game great and true to a theme.  Well done!  Even the walk from hospital room to waiting room added a sense of anticipation and suspense.  You could have made it a simple scene change but it really brought in the immersion by doing that.

Really struggled progressing at all, but it looks like you are already aware of that.  I just wish I was able to experience more of it!  Looks nice

Fun idea to switch the control scheme during the level!  I had trouble controlling with keyboard at times, it seemed to be unresponsive while moving?  Maybe I missed something about the mechanics though.  Still was able to complete it however!

That means a lot, thank you.  I would have liked to make it longer as well - if I end up expanding the game I will let you know!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing :)

Interesting take on the theme!  I like the data packets that could be used strategically, but I found them difficult to utilize.

I wish I could have had a little MORE control on either the rotation frequency or something else because I often found myself frustrated and stuck facing the wrong direction with no way to stop the virus enemies from taking the keys.

Thanks for checking it out!

Saw your post on r/gamedev - fun mechanic and interesting puzzles, really well done!  Was pretty addicting :)

Loved the dual mechanic and the animations felt really good.  Nicely done!

Really tricky and lots of fun!  I like that the game mode switched up in addition to the control shift, definitely added to the challenge, I had to remember which button did which while also adjusting to the room.  Timing of both changes was on point as well, nicely done :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!  Yeah, I would like to play with both enemy speed and the sword attack speed if I end up moving further with the game.

Love the fact that the slimes bounce around when hit by the barbarian - I really had to play around it and it definitely accentuated the out of control theme.  Thanks for making this it was fun!

Fun mechanic!  I ended up with my little dudes stacked up half the time by accident, it was hilarious :)  I felt like I wanted to plan out my next turns but that was not in my control!  So good job with the theme

Same, same :D

Yes, people seem to like the last area a lot- if I keep working on this game I will definitely explore that bit a little more.  I appreciate your feedback!

Yes, that soft lock is first on my list to fix if I pick this game back up again - thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!

Nice idea and play on the theme :)  Would have liked if the levels were a bit more flexible though, it felt like there was only one correct way to beat the level.

REALLY elegant use of the theme - remove a key control from shoot-em-up games (movement) while still giving the player enough to keep fighting.  Loved the retro graphics and the difficulty curve.  Well done :)

I felt the same way, loved the idea but wished it didnt' completely lock me down sometimes

Last level was the most fun!!

Music was fun!  Definitely had a couple shots where crazy stuff was happening but then the ball would disappear?  Wish it would stay on the field a bit longer so I could have more fun with the different objects, oftentimes the way to beat the level was just to avoid them and bank off the walls :(

aesthetic af but struggled to figure out where I should be heading?  Definitely gave me the feeling of being tired on the verge of sleep though, nicely done!

Got Hammerfight vibes - pretty fun!  Wish I had a little more room to move around in and get the flail to do some big damage!

Love the day/night cycle!  At one point some of my plants went away and I wasn't expecting it... and I ate all the sheep

baaaa

Thank you!  If I keep working on it I will let you know!

Pretty fun!  I like the multitasking aspect of the gameplay - are the lower level maps procedurally generated?

Very fun, I like that the character never used the items the way I thought he would.  I chopped off the guy's head at the end :X

Fun idea!  At times I wished the rockets were a little slower, so I could dodge them a little easier.  I suppose that is part of the challenge though!

Fun mechanic and nice level progression, adding new challenges as you play.  There were a couple times where I felt like the smallest bit of the top of my head stopped me from a big jump when it hit the ceiling :(

I like that you have to balance the two "states" in order to get far - I would have liked to know about the increased damage and health regen mechanics at the beginning though!  I also had a difficult time hitting enemies without taking damage myself.  Maybe a little indication that I hit the enemy?

Thanks!  I will definitely consider expanding at some point - I'm all ears if you have any ideas on where to take it
