love how out of control it gets with the paint and how the screen goes upside down!

I really loved this game, the art, music and general atmosphere combined pretty well, also having less vision and inverted controlls made it a wonderful challenge, and a good implementation of the theme, although I miss seeing the 6543$ sure it was an awesome piece of art, but not as much as this game.

Thank you ! :) Maybe I can get the Painter to send you the painting...

Love the aesthetic on this one, and all the drawbacks of receiving in the face what is probably lead-based paint. It looks life a day in the life of someone who worked on the set of "Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross.

This is a wonderfully original take on the theme. I like how you managed to keep mopping things up interesting with the control reverses and the different paint splattering patterns!

I wonder if the player should need to hold down E to clean. It seems like he's a bit harder to control when he does, which I like, but it's not very pronounced, and I wonder if it should either be a big contrast in movement, or just have him always cleaning. Regardless, great job, you got a solid rating from me!

Thank you for the kind words !

The idea was to create two movement mode, one to clean that is harder to control and one that is easier. So you need to alternate between them (cancel the cleaning to make a quick full turn...). But this idea fails in the end, and players only use the cleaning mode so you're right about the contrast that needs to be bigger !

Totally! I like the idea of the contrast, I think it adds a nice layer to the player's behavior.

Great looking game! Feels like a homely little art studio.

Just to let you know, first time I played, I managed to end up back in the menu? (by clicking in the centre of the screen), and it didn't show me what controls to press until I restarted the game. I think having Q/R/Spacebar as well would be good keys to listen for, E felt like an odd choice.

Developer

Thanks for the feedbacks, I will look into this bug 🐛

Yeah you're right about the controls, we were playing with a controller during the jam and totally forgot about the keybord controls until the very end...

I feel your pain! I have to remind myself to do audio every jam :X
