This game was awesomely funny! I laughed out loud when I discovered the mechanic in the second level, and the music feels like you're on a bad trip. Thank you for the fun!
I think this idea has tons of potential. I think I played it in a weird way because I have a large screen and I could see most of the level. You may have intended the frame to be smaller. So the levels were quite easy for me. A time limit would have made it more fun for me.
The weird quick jumps and falls and things you could do with the player were just hilarious. It's fun to be able to play a game with such odd feeling mechanics while still being in control. It just messes with you in a good way.
Nice work! I think some more variations in levels would be helpful to really emphasis the difference in the physics.
the game is very fun to play the music is beautiful the art style is amazing !!if you like you can play my game on https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/698144
It was a good idea, I'd have like to see a bit more variety in the levels though. They all felt very similar. Congrats on completing your first game!
It would be more fun if there were more obstacles and not just jumping. I got bored of it after 3 or 4 levels. I liked the idea of the physics being different in each level though. The size of the game in the browser was very large and I had to scroll down after starting the game. Also the music was too loud.
I didn't find the game that fun. There's not much challenge, instead you just walk around a maze looking for keys. Having spikes on the walls or enemies would have made the game much better (and put your skills of dealing with the physics to the test).
I really like the atmosphere you set up with the music though. The graphics fit your idea well too, although I think the gradient background is a bit bland. The music instruments did get a bit grating on my ears and I had to turn it down (and ended up still hearing it in my head please help); though I would keep the weird instruments to sound effects and whatnot.
There's not much to write home about for this game, but I see a lot of potential in it.
Fun but when the movement speed got high I got a headache. But I like the idea and enjoyed what I got through!
