Beautiful looking game, and fun concept. Having no control in the air was just a nuisance, and didn't add anything beneficial to the game I felt haha.

I do love the world you've created. If you re-used these assets in a future game, I'd be inclined to play it. It's a world I felt like exploring.

Pretty freakin awesome idea and execution! Very original. I could sit and chill out in the pong genre forever - it always felt like a breather between the rest of em.

This game inspires so many ideas in me, like a level-based game where you have some control over which genre to use, so you can strategically choose one over the other at various parts of the level.

Really cool! Definitely one of the more original games I've seen during the jam.

Really frustrating! I wasn't having much fun, and when I lost it felt nice that this frustration was acknowledged haha. Seems like there was a good lesson about accessibility here that I wouldn't have contemplated otherwise, so I appreciate that.

This game was awesomely funny! I laughed out loud when I discovered the mechanic in the second level, and the music feels like you're on a bad trip. Thank you for the fun!

I think this idea has tons of potential. I think I played it in a weird way because I have a large screen and I could see most of the level. You may have intended the frame to be smaller. So the levels were quite easy for me. A time limit would have made it more fun for me.

The weird quick jumps and falls and things you could do with the player were just hilarious. It's fun to be able to play a game with such odd feeling mechanics while still being in control. It just messes with you in a good way.

I love the idea, and I like the simplicity of the layout. That's why I clicked on the game! Even without a tutorial, it wasn't difficult to understand, which is in contrast to a lot of the games on here that I played.

In fact, I think I prefer it without a tutorial, because I enjoyed trying to piece together what I was supposed to do. That was a big part of the fun for me.

When I figured out what I was supposed to do, it felt a bit too easy. If there was more of a puzzle to it, such as "Only 3 Treats", I think it would make the game even more interesting :)

I had a lot of fun with it when I got accustomed to the mechanic. I did feel a sense of being out of control, but it felt like I slowly established a relationship with that feeling which oddly made me more in control.

I'm so glad you felt all that! We wanted to condition the player to be fearful and establish a habit of staying in control. The goal is to then unlearn and have faith, despite all the betrayal one may have faced. We really tried to gamify the human struggle of letting go after having built up so many walls and defense mechanisms through life.

Thank you for your in-depth comment!

This game's mechanic is not only original, but genuinely really fun! And I really mean that. It was out of control but still easy to understand .. and it felt FAIR, unlike a lot of other games in this jam. I really really liked it.

I'd only change two things:
• There's not much breathing room at the very beginning to really learn the controls without constantly dying a slooow and painful death.
• And related to the first point, the death + restarting sequence could be quicker. This is nitpicking, but I wish it didn't require me to use the mouse to click on a button when all my fingers are on the keyboard.

Otherwise, I really liked it. I'm actually gonna play it again now hahah

The ambience gave me some really cool feelings. Unlike a lot of other games in this jam, I actually felt some eerie sense of presence. I really liked that. As far as mechanics go, I couldn't figure out why I seemed to just randomly die. If that's the dash mechanic, I think there could be more potential than just making it random.

Still, I really loved the mystery of it! Keep on makin' games!

At first, I was confused about the movement, but when I understood how it worked, I had a blast! More fun than I've had with a lot of games in this jam. I wish it were ... sliiightly easier and I had sliiightly more control though. It's a mechanic that I feel has a lot of potential.

I felt like there was some cool idea buried in here! The idea of solving a problem while also keeping up the groove seemed really interesting and definitely fit the theme of out of control! Unfortunately, the goal was a little unclear, so I wasn't able to figure out what to do.

I really liked the visuals and the overall game feel. I did have a difficult time understanding the mechanics, though.

This felt like a really well-rounded game! It was fun, original, and very polished. I felt like, perhaps, it could've been a bit more surprising or creative in the way in which it adhered to the theme of 'out of control'

Pretty meditative experience. I felt calmed.

It wasn't clear to me at the beginning that I was supposed to reach the end. I thought that I was supposed to touch the transparent looking tile and that was it haha. So in the third level I was frustrated until I figured it out. Cool idea for a puzzle game! And GREAT presentation. That's what made me wanna play this.

The difficulty felt like it spiked significantly by the second level, but that's probably just because I'm not the best at puzzles hahah. Overall, I thought it was a very cool take on the Baba Is You style of gameplay. And you executed it well too! Awesome job

It's a nice concept. It's annoying to have to press Enter to try the level again if you miss a jump. I feel like it should basically always be in game play mode, unless you make some edits.

I didn't understand what was happening at first, but got the hang of it pretty soon. At first, I didn't find the mechanic very interesting, but when I proceeded to the second level things started to come together a lot more. Neat concept, beautiful execution.

I laughed. And it was fun to test my typing speed on some of the boxes, and it was very stressful when the one I was working in would get covered by something else.

The weird, dark humorous tone was a joy to experience.

The instructions weren't super clear to me, so I ended up just trying to move the kids to whatever they seemed to be wanting at the time, but then I noticed some of the kids involuntarily moving toward those things on their own. In the end, I wasn't quite sure what was going on anymore. I think the instructions could be clearer.

That said, even though my score was horrible, I still played it from start to finish and had a lot of fun doing it!

Pretty fun! Loved the presentation. Is there a way to beat this? I got pretty stressed towards the end.

Ahh! Playing this game felt like eating candy. The feedback was really satisfying. I didn't read the instructions, so I was a little confused at first as to what the objective was, but I got the hang of it. Great little game. Perhaps I didn't get far enough, but I had a hard time figuring out how exactly it related to the theme.

LOVE the music. It felt so nice! My only issues with the game were that it was hard to know what direction I was facing, and I'm slightly color blind which means I couldn't easily differentiate between the yellow enemies, and the other color that spawns the small enemies. Overall, fun game.

REALLY fun! My only qualms were that it felt like cars moved inconsistently, so it was frustrating to attempt something that worked one time, and see it fail another time, with what I believe was the same size car. But overall, this was A LOT of fun. Looking forward to see how you develop this once the jam is over.

This one was very satisfying and dopamine-inducing! By my second or third try, I got into a good rhythm of technique to deal with the various threats. I was hoping there would be another level or so to tackle, but it was a cute little cupcake of an experience.

Great concept! I really wish I could have played this game to completion but I couldn't jump high enough at some parts. I see that you're already aware of this issue. I'm sorry this happen. Game dev is so frustrating sometimes :/

Hi! Cool idea. I feel like you could teach the player what's going on better (barring outside instructions, which I haven't been reading as I go through everyone's games). Once I figured out how to play,  I was excited by the concept, but then my ferris wheel got stuck and the level wouldn't restart (in the 3rd level). I'll come back to this one later - but definitely try and polish this game more once the jam is over, because I like the idea.

Snake is always a lot of fun! The speed constantly changing kept me on my toes.

Thought the idea was really cool! I really liked the weapon switches, but felt like I never quite got the chance to really form a relationship with it enough to strategically change my play style based on each weapon. I feel like there's a lot of potential here for a great game if the environment and enemy spawning changed somehow!

Really cool presentation and atmosphere! I couldn't beat it though, and I felt like I played a while. I kept losing in the box stacking place, and eventually I got tired of the game restarting, and the ball stopping during pong. It was super engaging though!

This game cracked me up hahah. Enjoyed playing it. Well done!

The concept was really cool! It took me a second to understand what was happening, but once I did, it was pretty engaging. It was out of control for sure ... but it somehow felt unfair at the same time. Has a lot of potential!

Really funny and fun game! I laughed out loud when the guys death sound had reverb on it.

Pretty engaging. I wasn't smart enough to figure out exactly what the pattern of the fire was, and I felt like I finished the game by fluke rather than strategy. Was hoping for more, but great game so far.

This is like my favorite comment so far! Thank you for playing the game and leaving such a thoughtful comment.

Looks like there's a little error! Hopefully you see these comments and try and give it a fix!
