While the controls are frustrating, you have an interesting idea here and I really enjoyed playing it! I wasn't able to beat it (yet), but I'm definitely going to take a run at it a couple more times. Good job!

It's really frustrating to control, but I guess that's by design. A plus was definitely that you included close-by respawn points, it would have been even more frustrating to have to repeat the whole course every time haha

Thanks for playing the game and reviewing it! It's understandable that the game is tough to understand. I can include a tutorial or make it a bit easier to understand in a later version after the jam.
I really like the art, but the controls were pretty frustrating. Reading through some of your other comments, I think more player feedback on what is actually happening when the character takes over control for themself is a great idea to make it feel less out-of-the-blue and more like something where the player just needs to hop back on the reigns. Overall, good job!

This game brilliantly frustrated me with a lack of control :) I would have liked a bit more feedback on what was going wrong and how I often didn't figure that out until it was too late. I love the character and animations and the sound of him frustrated jiggling the controller was perfectly in line with my reactions.
Thanks! I wanted to give the experience of getting frustrated with your controller as the player character also has a history of getting frustrated with game controllers. I suppose overdid it. I will provide more feedback somehow in a later version!
Hard to say how much was overdone, and how much was playing through so many games with a theme of out of control. ;) I would love to see how you further develop the concept though.
