Wow the art really reminds me of that one garfield meme. Absolutely terrifying! Maybe make the UI at the bottom a bit clearer but this is a really good base for a pretty complex game!
The artwork is terrifying! I thought the scribbles over the controls would show me which keys to press but they were not the right keys, I managed to figure it out though but I was confused :)
oh, they were supposed to do that, clearly we left a pretty bad bug in, sorry about that :x Thanks for giving it a chance besides that!
Wild artwork, props for taking a run at Godot. Though I feel it wasn't quite clear in how to play.
The controls (of the character) are visible on screen at all times ;) But yeah, we didn’t have the time to include any notes on how to actually do the remapping in-game.
If you’d like to have another go (or for anyone else’s reference):
There are keyboard keys to the left and right of the screen, and actions in the center. The lines between them represent which key is mapped to which action at any time. You can click on key and action to create a new mapping (order does not matter)
Enemies damage your controls rather than your health directly. We…. don’t have an explicit lose state, but eventually you can no longer control the character.
Couldn't figure out how to actually rewire things, so had to dock fun points.
Terrifying artwork. I love it.
