How does your game fit the theme?
The blade speeds up as you try to destroy all the walls, and will kill you if you touch it. It gets faster and faster until it gets out of control, leaving you no choice but to dodge it.

Nice, but it was really hard because the controls felt.. I don’t know.. delayed? Also I died a few times because there was no indicator of the direction of the blade

Cool idea, it should be super-fun as a multiplayer game!

Gfreat concept, but the controls felt sluggish. It seemed to take too long for my attack to come out. Nice job, though.

Definitely an original idea! The difficulty is a bit too high for my liking, but still great game. Only the music was a bit annoying, but hey, you made it yourself, that's more than I can say haha!

Here is my game if you wanna play it, sorry for linking it in the comment but itch is bugged and isn't displaying it in the comment: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/698697#post-1648262

great job man! it was a bit difficult to play but it's still a great entry for a first game jam.

Hi there! I found this a cool concept overall, but I was a little confused at the beginning also with the link to the "control" aspect. However, I still repeated it several times, and I really enjoy the music/disco theme going on! Good work for a two-day marathon!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you figured out how to play it. I actually fucked up my time management and had no time left to make a tutorial, but I'm happy people can still enjoy what I made :)

Hey, that's ok! It's my first jam so I was also really racing the clock near the end there - totally get it! Congrats!

I'll be honest, I think the link to the theme is a bit tenuous here. It's not really out of control, it's just fast.

However I still had fun playing it. I'd like more control over my x shots so I could precisely aim the ball where I want it to go. Maybe it could be an idea that you could have a third sort of shot where it slows down the ball a lot?

Thanks for making this game.

Thank you for taking the time to play my game!

I agree with your points, It's my first jam so things didn't exactly went the way I thought they would. I tried making it more out of control-y but I was just making it too hard. Eventually I just settled on ditching the theme and making the most out of the time I had left. It was an awesome experience though! :)
