Haha I had fun thank you :) Really great idea :) And gamepad ! Thank you for that :)
Not the explosives, children! Great idea, I had a lot of fun. Nice work on it!
We loved making a mess on purpose!
Very funny idea and excellent execution ! Those kids clearly felt out of control ^^ !
Nice idea and presentation. Wish there were more levels and maybe even put some puzzle like mechanics, like making the kids knock down something to open up a path or having a toy that will pull one kid out of your control, forcing you to use the other kid to move around. Congratulations.
Yeah I built a whole other level set in a military surplus store we didn't get in that would have had you able to 'die' by standing on landmines. The time crunch of a 48 hour jam :D
That level would be both fun and terrifying!
This has a lot of potential! Controlling the parent through the two kids was an interesting mechanic, and I'd love to see how you explored it more! Good job.
I agree, I just did the art and I questioned that control scheme initially but it came together really well, once you get them moving its pretty fun :D
Yeah!!! I had to figure out that my goal wasn't just causing the most destruction and havoc, but to actually get to the door! Which allowed me to interpret the game in two different, fun ways.
This is a really clever idea, I wish it was more in an infinite runner style though so I could play more of it!
I agree, an infinite style and a destruction mode would be cool... whenever I tested I spent my time running into things.
This is actually fun! Wish there were more levels and mechanics to complement the neat key idea. Consider putting up an offline version; WebGL load times are unbearable for 3D games.
Cheers, I'll see if we can still submit an offline build.
edit - turns out we can't
