The idea is very good, for some reason I couldn´t get to place the switch by the gate and that stopped me from continuing. I would have loved to play it more.
Interesting, so when you stood next to the gate and pressed 'z' to drop the switch, did it not drop, or did it drop but not open the gate?
One of the best games in this jam! I love puzzles already, but then the presentation of the game and how it gives you the feeling like you're solving in a textbook just made it feel much better for me. And I don't mind the no audio. I actually love it! 5 stars!
Just got a chance to play yours... I would have rated yours five stars also if it had been on my queue! (As it is, I only had time to rate a couple things.)
Woaho, an extremely underrated game. The puzzle mechanic requires some big brain energy down the line. Fascinating how you were able to create such levels within 48 hours. You should be very proud!
I read the instructions but I still got confused at the schematic/bottle level.
Yeah, that level is kind of confusing. The basic idea is that you have two cycles of recipes (bottle -> shards -> glass -> bottle and paper <-> airplane) and you need to get the two cycles to sync up so that you have the bottle and the paper at the same time.
Cool idea, and the gameplay is interesting, good work. I'm curious to know what technology stack did you use to make the game.
Thanks! The project was written entirely in Elm. And the graphics were drawn in inkscape. Not much else in terms of a stack. You can or anyone else can view the source at this repo for a bit more detail.
Thanks, for sharing. Wow, you managed to write this game using graphics at web gl level in 48 hours. Congrats, impressive :)
I really like this idea, and the presentation as a manual page is really creative. My biggest issue is that the interface feels a little hard to navigate, with a bunch of text at the bottom it's not always easy to tell at a glance what's going on. I think using the icons more in the inventory interface might have helped. Still, cool idea! I'd love to see this expanded on in the future
What a really neat puzzle game! I don't think I've seen a step-by-step puzzle game (idk what the genre is called) quite like this one before!
