Wow your game is pretty cool! Though, I must say that your game needs a bit more polish to be absolutely amazing. By that I mean: giving some feedback when damaging an enemy, like through a particle effect or something. Also the speed of some abilities was a bit too slow in my opinion. It kind of made the game feel slow paced, if you know what I mean. Other than that, your game was fantastic!

Had to find out what happens, when I do something, but then I got the hang of it. I was not able to activate the tutorial button at the beginning. But very good entry of the game jam.

The controls are a bit hard to get used to at first, but then it becomes fun. The art is pretty good and the increasingly powerful spells are also very good. Good job!
The game is fun, but there’s a lack of feedback to the player when things happen, like for example, when a spell collides there are particles, but when an enemy is hit there’s nothing but the aforementioned particles, the same happens when the player is hit, this makes it feel a bit “empty”, there’s no reaction from the enemy or the player about taking damage (outside of the health bar of course); the spells change at random which is fun and makes the player had to adapt on the fly, but some spells don’t seem to work as they appear? for example the “beam”, gives the feeling of damaging anything in its path, but it doesn’t quite react to enemies at some points.
Cool idea, can be fun once it’s more polished.
I totally agree with you that more feedback was necessary especially for taking damage. And yes sometimes the spells didn't quite work as we wanted but if we had more time i'm sure we would of fixed that. Thanks for the great feedback
