I cant figure out how to play? I just keep getting stuck on the first screen. Also, did you make this in the Scratch engine? If so, that's where I got my start with game making too :)

You need to wait a bit before you press the Space bar to advance text. I'll work on that later. And yes, I did make this in Scratch. I've had more experience with it than other frameworks/engines and this was my first game jam so I wanted something I had as much experience with as possible.

I like the idea of multiple endings, I'm not really seeing how the prompt is relative though. Sometimes spacebar wouldn't skip text properly?

I set it so the spacebar would only load new text after the text was there for a while. I will work on a different solution the next time I make a game in this genre. I used the prompt as in the different types of animals being "joined together."

This was short and fun, but I do think it is stretching the limits of what "joined together" means in this jam. Nice work!
