Came for the game, stayed for the bartender;)
if he'd only move
It took me a second to understand how close I needed to be to guests in order to press E, but as soon as I figured that out, I had so much fun!! Matching the interests of guests is such a wholesome activity, and running back and forth between tables as I "tried to get to know people" and then match them up was hectic and a lot of fun. Well done!
Also I forgot to mention, the art style is so well executed!!! The shadow of the ceiling fans is subtle but it adds so much to the atmosphere!!! The lighting is also really impressive and cozy, excellent job there
Like others already said, the mecanics were a bit confusing at the start.
You could have added a little bit more to the tutorial to prevent this.
Nevertheless I actually enjoyed playing your game and the cute pixel-art graphics (I like the animated fans on the ground) combined with this chill-music really creates a nice atmosphere :D
Great work and keep it up!
thanks a lot for playing and leaving a comment.😊
We will put an emphasis on the tutorial part for the next jam👍
A bit confusing at first but after some time is quite nice. I think a visible timer for the waiting guest could put more pressure on the player and make the gameplay more intense.
Hi there :)
thanks a bunch for the feedback.
We actually put an indicator in the game ^^ But i guess it was a bit to subtle
At the beginning I didn't understand, but after a few minutes it was really fun! The idea is great :)
It was a bit confusing at first but overall it was fun and original! I think music would be a nice addition.
Thanks for the feedback ^^
Might i ask what version you were playing? We actually have a great track in the background. It would be a shame if some players could not hear it :(
Liked the artstyle, gameplay works without bugs for me.
Very confusing. I don't like it. Anyone else might. A bit unresponsive.
Very cute pixel arts and lighting!
But then, I didn't understand the mechanics and things were quite confusing, I wish I had more guidance at the start. Also you should change the fonts to all pixel so it looks even more polished!
How cute! Love this idea
